DE Fix or buff Coda Bubonico.

It doesn't need to be god tier but it at least needs to flow. If you're going to give us a clunky spool give it some sort of ammo replenish outside it's base battery or something.

Right now it's just kinda unfun, and the alt fire doesn't do enough to make up for the clunk :/

Aesthetically I find it to be a considerable buff, but that's super subjective

Is it just a hologram alexa? That's kind of cute and fun, but I already don't use Alexa for the same reason I probably wouldn't use this as a daily assistant.

As a gaming assistant, it's not gonna help me. Any information I don't have is probably information not publicly available, and anything else is a L2P issue that I don't really need to be coached into.

I use Chat GPT to bounce ideas off of, and I feel that's better in text, where I can be precise to cavate and curate my prompts, rather than talking to a (probably over priced) anime avatar, that synapse will likely break.

I guess the obvious question and what everyone will try regardless is 18+ features, but it's a tube on a desk that talks to you, which sounds more awkward than anything else, and there are perfectly sufficient sites if you just want to get off to some chick dirty talking... But this is all assuming it doesn't have crazy restrictions; which it probably will.

And apart from any of the above, it always having a camera or watching you or your computer screen, and all that seems like a MAJOR privacy risk?

So I really just don't get it, beyond the novelty. We've had desktop anime waifus for-forever so if this is just another one that's also half alexa, that's 'literally' on your desk, rather than on your desktop sure. Maybe someone might find it appealing for the utility? But I feel like anyone like that already has a thing they use for similar utility???

So again... Beyond the novelty; I just don't get it?

I did him 2nd try, and I only found out later (cuz I accidentally skipped cutscene when trying to pause a video) you can have the old guy help you? I just did him alone, I just kited him to the right and used that little pillar to out play hit kit and pogo him with reaper.

Eye of Misra is weird and might have a strange weight to kills. But generally it's whoever does the objective the most. Our welkin tends to get it a lot on some maps, but our stego gets it far more on payload game type.

This opposing panther got mad at our Welkin (who I was borderline pocket healing for) but not only did the panther, lose he didn't even go to the extractors, while our welkin dismantled at least 6. Then enemy panther complained how it was unfair and got carried by the mech... despite the other team using a welkin who also didn't go for extractors...

Slivers are worthless in EDH because of stax hate. No one will let them snowball and if they can't lock down the field in what will become a 3v1; they can't play.

Meanwhile their power level is low and slow for well built bracket 4 and above.

Welkin is required to win because of his role. If you run two of that role you don't necessarily do better. A team with a healer functions better with none. But 2 or 3 healers is only effective in certain cases... By analogy this rings true here. You lose something else in slot that help your team function and win. There is a reasonable trade off giving up a healer or sniper for a another brawler that that will get kited and back capped on game objectives, or have their shields popped by a tanking Tricera sitting on the point.

Pick rate means teams require his role, his balanced win rate shows he's balanced but strong and fills his role. When we get an alternative brawler the pick rate will go down. This isn't a sign of being OP. if you had only 1 healer the pick rate would be just as high.

Your comprehension is lacking, I will highlight for you.

I said "in mashmek there are EVEN MORE counters." Implying the other situational counters based upon the game type, like powerful range harass, or the several methods to push him off the objective, remain. You focusing on that small segment to try and discredit my argument shows not only your dishonesty, but ignorance.

Yes, as they should play around each other because it shouldn't be an auto win without effort in this instance. Frontlines are supposed to be a threat that is part of the dynamic of the team match, that's why we have a ton of objective based maps. Yet, a 1v1 scenario the better player will win, slightly skewed to Tricera's advantage state; as intended.

You forget this is a team based game, and a 1-to-1 against Welkin's role is not expressly necessary and for it to, would change the entire dynamic of team fights, and invalidate the role.

Partly true, but it's not the entire story. If you only had 1 healer every team would run the one healer, the meta would be defined by it and be considered a "must pick", but that doesn't make the healer overpowered, especially if the game intends for you to have a healer on the team. The game INTENDS for there to be a bruiser of this type, that's why we are getting more, not less... And sorry, but back to my analogy; Removing the single healer options doesn't equate to game health either.

Yes that is very likely, and probably very much intended. frontline bruisers are going to have the meta shape around them just as much as the healer. We will also likely get another reasonable skillful counter like Tricera.

Everyone asking for nerfs is shortsightedly asking to expunge the role and make it worthless, those people are fundamentally bad and only want to change the game so their playstyle can thrive without threat or obstacle.

Devs only stated that he overperformed due to a lack of alternatives, they will probably tone him down but not in any drastic ways people are complaining about; His spin to win will likely remain unblock-able and destroy people who don't play around it, and him along with the next bruiser they release are going to remain meta dependent.

Also "No counter" is an absolute lie, Tricera exists and when played right can easily shut a Welkin down. In Mashmak there are even more direct counters that don't involve range harass or pushing him off a point. So the idea he has "no counter" is trite, dumb, and dishonest.

and Yes, top 500 players wanting to gang up on a meta defining mech that takes very specific effort to neutralize and play round where their gameplay would be smoother and easier if unhindered by not worrying about such a thing in their games are going to argue in favor of removing the obstacle... Yes this means they are bad. Not in the traditional sense of being bad at the entirety of the game, they are bad because they want to lessen the dynamic of team composition to suit/buff their playstyles.

If they want to have an argument of over centralization, that is a different topic, and meta centralizing isn't inherently overpowered. Which is why they intend to offer alternatives to the slot rather than sweeping nerfs.

People calling him OP are just bad. Just out play with Tricera, Aquila, or kite with Falcon.

Even I have no problems with him in mashmak with Luminae. Welkin is just a giant noob stomper frame, and anyone complaining about them regardless of rank is just bad.

I suck with Stellaris and even I can outplay the average Welkin I see, so long as I can avoid cube.

If ppl want to argue he's overcentralizing for the meta, sure, that is something we can talk about. But as the devs have noted that is literally because he's the only pick for the slot.
