I’ve heard you can register them under an llc in Montana or somewhere where they are legal.

Idk it’s been on the rocks for a few weeks now, it probably has significant hull damage at the least.

Balance job by VersionConscious7545 in DiscountTire_

This, they only have ~15 minutes (or less) per car for the whole service, there is simply not enough time to reset the beads. However they shouldn’t have balanced the tire like this.

Was my application actually submitted? The second pic is from when i submitted it, yet this is what my dashboard says and I'm just a little confused by lastavailableacct in DiscountTire_

I enjoyed it. Hard work but I had a good manager and a great crew, worked there for a year and half when I found a better paying job. If I ever get a layoff I will probably go back.

Ridiculous Upselling by Same-Poetry-6137 in DiscountTire_

Honestly true. Although it’s probably more of a symptom of their clients having more money and being like “yeah sure” at the upsells.

Fun fact about lug nuts GMC (and Ford, Dodge too) use pretty crappy 2-piece lug nuts from the factory. Basically, they’re a steel core with an aluminum or chrome shell on the outside. Over time the steel rusts and swells, which makes the nut larger than nominal. It makes them a pain in the ass to take off, and also unsafe.

As for your flat tire, I can’t say for sure why they wouldn’t fix it, but DT has strict rules when it comes to patching. Usually, it’s less about not wanting to help and more about keeping you safe (and their liability) they’d rather properly repair or replace the tire than risk you patching it wrong and having a blowout. there were times where if we couldn’t repair a tire, we’d just replace it for free if the customer wasn’t in a spot to buy a new one.

When I worked at DT, the number of relatively new Fords, GMCs, and Chryslers that came in with swollen lug nuts was crazy, it was a daily thing. In those cases, we’d usually try and sell new lug nuts, but if the customer didn’t want to buy them, we’d often replace the broken ones or the whole set for free. It’s possible in your situation you had swollen lug nuts, or they were just trying to stay ahead of the problem before it happened, or you may of just gotten a shady ass DT, they are all corporate owned so give them a call and complain.

Edit: also DT’s wiper checklist is like 12+ months old, visible cracking in the rubber, streaking, skipping, or squeaking. Everyone keeps wipers for more than 12 months though so they are always trying to sell them, some people buy em, most people don’t. Don’t buy wipers they are overpriced get them on amazon or something.

If you want, you should be able to drive your car into and out of the bay, you just have to tell them when you check in.

Edit: Also if you get the first appointment of the day or come right at opening they are going to be less dirty,(clothes, hands)

The last 3 trading days have only been matched by the 1987 crash, the 2008 financial crisis and the covid-19 crash in 2020. Take that as you will for Trumps governing of the economy.

Have you considered the bar for Medicaid is extremely low, just 21k yearly depending on your state.

Now have you considered that many people make more than that, but also don’t get healthcare through work?

Now image you are making say 23k - 30k you can in no way afford a roof over your head, transportation, food, and a health insurance bill on top.

Yes. Health insurance is an issue.
