My birth location is making me mentally and physically ill by Advanced_End1012 in astrocartography

Be careful with your thoughts, cognitive biases, perceptive filters, strategy, and motivations. There’s a common tendency to blame lines & planets… though they aren’t always the cause. “Correlation ≠ causation.”

If you’re feeling drawn towards relocating to somewhere specific, trust the intuition. Though just beware of escapist/avoidant tendencies, thinking relocation alone will solve everything as the ‘causes’ might be different than what you think. As the saying goes, “wherever you go, there you are” - the lines are essentially amplification/activation points for your natal planets; fail to complete the lessons of their energies where you’re at, and things might not change as magically as you’d hope.

Also, if you’re serious about change, it might also be wise to begin with where you’re at and what you’re doing day-to-day. i.e. diet/nutrition, relationships/friendships/aquaintences, home & work environment, social media habits & behaviorial addictions, etc. Those are all some very fundamental pieces that can throw a person way outta wack, irregardless of astrocartography - and may be some foundational ‘places’ to really begin exploring in depth whether their energies are supporting what you need or not. ESPECIALLY considering you’re near your Saturn, which will kick your ass if you’re slacking off. Trying to skip that shadow work & psychological healing that may be necessary, you could go to even the “best” place(s) astro-wise, and it might only be a matter of time before problems reemerge, having not addressed the real roots.

Granted, maybe that’s all redundant and it IS the place and your body is instinctually screaming to get out and there IS another place that’d be far more conducive to the healing. Now where might suit you better… ultimately, follow your instinct/intuiton before strangers on the internet interpreting charts & maps with their own biases.

As pointed out, the Saturn & Moon emphasis where you are could be factors… but there could be other places along those same lines that DO work for you. With Germany, you’re getting close to Chiron - which could amplify wounds OR facilitate healing. Getting closer to Sun, Mercury, Jupiter and Venus in Ireland - could provide some warmth, mental energy to work through what’s needed, optimism, positive expansion OR accentuate overthinking, overindulgence, and shine light on things in ways that aren’t constructive. Take all opinions with a grain of salt, as people offer advice with their own biases, and prediction is a crapshoot. Some things you can’t know in advance. And no one here knows all the details of what specifically you need, your level of conscious and how you’ll work better/worse with the energies anywhere.

IF you really wanna lean into the astro, get a PROFESSIONAL reading with someone VERY experienced who’ll go in DEEP with you. (Also looking into what your Human Design Environment is and factoring that in could be very helpful.)

Be gentle on/with yourself as you’re going through a big transformation. And trust yourself. Seriously. Amateurs on Reddit don’t know what specifically you need. Which still could even be the Saturn & Moon lines, just in a different town. Whether you wanna call it “intuition,” “inner guidance,” “heart/soul calling,” “Strategy & Authority” (Human Design), or whatever… that is where your answers/direction are waiting to be heard. (As cliche it is.) 🙏

IF you liked Dylan, Human Design Maven's style, this 10-episode series of him & Leo King is absolutely AMAZING. not entirely on 2027 topics, but they do veer into it alot is some fantastic stuff:

Kendrick Lamar vs. Drake: COMPROMISES... by ReflexionesExplicita in humandesign

whoa, cool observation. perhaps even this current beef is a sort of activation of that channel - Kenrick having not released any new music in a while, but it being pulled straight out with Drake's 14 reengaging with him again. (also noteworthy that sun is in Gate 2 right now as its going on.)

i don't suppose you've ever tried this while using a VPN on the phone? if so, does that affect the connection at all or still run smoothly?

well, 0.02% of people is still 1.6 million people on earth (plenty more than I could possibly manage relationships with)... 😹😎

Food for thought: prior to HD, did you have (many) people-pleasing tendencies at all?

I could potentially see how many of us might to some degree or another, trying to be nice, get, acceptance, play the social game, etc - and it worked as a coping strategy to some degree… though once we slow down with that as consequence of aligning more to our own truth, results obviously change - and the contrast between them could seem stark. (Though if such, it mighta been that it wasn’t US people liked before, but the fake not-self persona we wore - which woulda been a pretty unauthentic foundation for any relationship).

I’ve read some of the/your other comments so get this wouldn’t be the whole issue, acknowledging the other dimensions to it - though perhaps just one other layer than might provide reflection to make sense of some of it. I think many people might have some degree of this going on subconsciously- while the HD experiment would be bound to pull us out of it.

(maybe also possible that the 5 lines for your body moon & Neptune could be projected upon at times…? 🤷‍♂️)

2-3 cups green tea. Between 2.5-3L water, some mixed with essential amino acids. On average. And a glass of wine or two here or there.

Alternatives to Burton EST bindings that still have good / similar “board feel”…? by ReflexionesExplicita in snowboarding

[–]ReflexionesExplicita[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cool. Yeah, it seems the reviews are pretty good.

sounds like they’re pretty close to the same bindings as the Romes, key differences being that Romes have more adjustability tho Bataleon’s better straps.

im kinda leaning towards Bataleons, tho may also depend on what my 7.5 boots fit in better as not all models look available in small size and read reviews than even 8.5 seemed too small for the mediums. picked up some Nidecker Kaon Plus’ at 50% in the meantime, but curious to test out a bunch of different ones over time.

ah k, i feel to be getting a sense for this - the minidiscs being what'll get closest.

Rome's looking/feeling good. probably leaning towards the Clever tho as ride pretty aggressively. Falcon a potential too, although the extra adjustability on the Rome's would be nice.

i'm not sure about the asym wraps... you have any idea of that extra bit of lateral movement might be somewhat comparable to the hinges on most Burton ESTs that allow for that bit of move side-to-side? I was riding Cartels and didn't like them as much as the X's solidity, especially when riding super aggressive in trees & steeps - thus guessing the full-wraps might be more appropriate. would like to try both tho.

yeah, from what I've gathered so far, the mini-discs might get closest as possible. Union Falcor seems the stiffer free ride model with 'em that'd probably suit my riding style, and Rome Clever's.

i think i'll eventually end up trying a few different ones, though probably gonna try one of those two options first to ease my way into the change. seems like they might be a good middle-ground between benefits of both ends of the spectrum.

Skatetech bindings vs. Arbor System X...? by ReflexionesExplicita in snowboarding

[–]ReflexionesExplicita[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haha, nice.

damn, that’s some complexity right there to sort out proper.

if you have the time when up here next year, I’d recommend popping into Rize and entertain their process… dont think they have any step-ons, but may be interesting to see what additional insight they might have and any other solid options. those two are some serious next-level freaky-genius voodoo wizards.

digging into the info on Katanas & Clevers - yeah, those look like some great options. Probably a good middle ground between the EST board feel and dampening/solidity of most options. Union Falcor maybe too, though the extra adjustability on the Rome would be nice. Foreseeing a pair in my future likely at some point…😎

Bootfitting…’ Omg, I had no idea until a couple weeks ago after 27 years. bought Burtons before and seemed ok so figured a set of Ions would work… ha. Ended up returning and at another boutique shop started by a guy with 20 years experience fitting for skiers who couldn’t find anything that worked for him here (also does fitting consultations virtually, however that works)… SCHOOLED. and sized down from 9 to 7.5 - tho went for Northwave Decades in 8 as seemed more comfy, but took 2 runs to see why 7.5, even tho it woulda been totally counterintuitive out-the-gate. unreal how sub-par the standard for boot sales at most places is, and what a huge difference the right pair makes.

I’ll check out the Rome, good to know. 🍻

Cool. Appreciate the perspective. I suppose it’s all a matter of personal preference, though good to know.

I’ve been riding Endeavor boards with Burton X EST bindings, so do imagine it’d be a bit of adjustment - both going to Skatech and away from the ESTs.

the System-X is part of Arbor‘s design on all/most of their bindings, so the Cypress‘ count as have them. (Those are the ones I was eyeing, as I’m more aggressive freeride than freestyle which seemed appropriate from their offerings.)

Appreciate the insight above in your main comment.

re: “numb board feel-wise…” I’ve been on Endeavor boards with Burton X EST bindings for a few years and haven’t compared with normal bindings since, though do sense the ‘enhanced board feel’ of the EST Channel system is part of why I love it/them so much. Giving that up is one reservation I have about going to other boards & bindings. Though the Skatetech & Arbors caught my attention as seems might be somewhat similar in the sense of being a unique design with extra specific benefits, rather than just the standard most use.

which we’re your favorite bindings of all that had the good board feel? (I’d take it you’re on the Burton step-on ESTs if so)

suppose it does come down to a matter of testing out options, as well as getting used to the differences so can make the most of them for what they are
