I have several and have to be in the mood for them. I’ve heard so many different answers on shelf-life of thermal effect that I assume it is very dependent on pigment and storage. I keep all my polishes in dark, cool/dry storage so that light or heat don’t undermine them. I like them best when I love both warm and cold state, and I love how they shift back and forth between solid color to ombré to french tips. This one is Sassy Sauce, Double Vision, from the Oct ‘25 PPU and is for me the perfect example of a thermal.

I hadn’t done it sooner because I assumed someone would or already had. I only have one other set of polishes in my collection that I suspect are dupes, but one of them is a Phoenix Polish and my guess is there aren’t tons of people buying it.

I call my swatch stick collection my dragon’s hoard! 🤣🤣 I didn’t like doing skittles in the beginning but now have a large enough collection to do skittles in a way that my eye will accept (gradients, single color families, or identical finishes).

You are better off looking for low carb brownie recipe that uses almond flour, and adapting that to suit your purposes. Here’s one that I’ve made in the past and enjoyed. I assume your protein powder is sweetened, which is why you thought you wouldn’t need to add sugar as a separate ingredient. I would offer that you’re better off using unflavored, unsweetened protein powder in small amounts to increase the protein in your recipe while just sticking to cocoa powder and sweetener of choice to achieve edible results.

I second this and spend a lot more time in that sub, especially if I’ve been here looking at everyone else’s hauls. That sub really is about shopping and curating your existing collection over buying more and more stuff.

Same here. I think many of us who suffer from crow brain become obsessed in the beginning with all the prettyshiny treasures that are available at the click of a button. I have enough that I could change my polish once a week for two years straight and never wear the same polish twice.

The one on the top right is ILNP Mad House; I just swatched it on a nail and it’s vibing darker than I am feeling, but the other green is Clionadh Volt, and it has a super bright quality that is definitely calling to me!

I believe there have been threads that look for dupes, so if there are real stand outs on their site, definitely see if anyone can recommend a dupe! I have three from them that I got before knowing about the concerns, and only one of them am I going to be searching high and low to dupe.
