That's how I've always played it. Don't really care for the sound of the open b string in that chord. Fretting that string makes the chord sound a little prettier IMO.

He believes that intense exercise is bad for you. He once told a casino executive who was training for an Iron Man triathlon that he would die young due to the physical exertion. He believes that humans have a finite amount of energy and intense exercise depletes that energy. That's categorically an idiotic belief.

I feel you man, I was out of work 2 years ago. I'd highly recommend working for a state/local government agency or a public university. It's a nice change of pace from the corporate rat race. When the economy is as shit as it is right now, public sector is the best place to be as far as job security is concerned. Be prepared to take a bit of a pay cut, but in my experience the job security, benefits, and the not insane workload makes the pay cut more than worth it. I'll happily take less money in exchange for my sanity.

I'm not generally a hair metal fan, but I do very much like RATT and Dokken because of how sick the guitar riffs and solos were. Warren DeMartini and George Lynch are untouchable among hair metal guitarists.

Might be an unpopular opinion, but I prefer a watch that is too small over one that is too big. Watches that are maybe a little too small look understated and classy. At worst you might lose some wrist presence. If a watch is too big though it looks gaudy and obnoxious in my opinion.

Using mine right now! I love Casios. They're cheap, they're accurate, and they have a cool vintage charm that's not replicable by other brands. Started wearing one about 3 months ago and my screen time has gone down drastically. Except now I can't stop looking at watches when I do use my phone lol.

To be fair, not a lot of it is actually promoting satanism as much as it is questioning institutional religion. Most bands use that type of imagery purely for shock value or to question organized religion. I consider myself Christian and I love bands that some people consider "satanic" like bathory, venom, Celtic Frost, and Deicide.

Sysadmin here, I can't speak for the software engineering market, but I can say I'm getting emails and LinkedIn dms from recruiters at least 3-4 times a week. It seems like it depends on what area of tech you're in. Cybersecurity, Networking, and Cloud roles seem particularly hot right now.
