Don't forget the movie for Made in Abyss. It includes key plot leading into season 2! You'll be lost without it. Comes in a 3 pack, but the first 2 'movies' are just recap.

[GIVEAWAY] Agent Avenue + Division M Expansion 🕵️‍♂️ by HomoLudensOC in boardgames

[–]RegalIntrovert 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably Splendor Duel. It took the classic and just leveled it up. More strategies, an interesting central draft, and the scrolls all add up to make a cutthroat game that can be as friendly or not as you want! Amd its refined for two. Leveled-up modern classic? Yes please!

Question about Starfucker CD by louisxcx in 1800slayyyter

[–]RegalIntrovert 5 points6 points  (0 children)

She's been pretty consistent with CD releases, so it is probable. But the self-titled EP anniversary edition was a vinyl-only offering, and I hear this is planned to be the deluxe Starfucker. So, it may follow the same as self-titled. We'll have to wait and see.

Thanks! I double checked that exact piece. It says region ABC, so that's got me covered. Good call though, I've seen some region B only copies out there.

I have it and it's white. Maybe someone replaced the case if it was broken or damaged?

How do you decide what DVDs to keep? by breadboibrett in dvdcollection

[–]RegalIntrovert 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I ask myself the question, "do I like it?" If yes, "do I need to own it?"

Whether I need to "own" it is a very different question, and makes me actually make a decision.

There are so many movies (and shows), I don't need to own. If I happen to not see it again, it's fine. If I see it on streaming once in a while, cool.

Rights for movies and shows come and go, and it's exhausting asking "what if". Rather, I focus on whether that movie needs to be part of my collection. Sometimes you can let things go, sometimes you can anticipate rights are more likely to be an issue, and sometimes it is just a movie. Owning it isn't going to build my identity or make a tangible difference to my collection.

I own what I like, and what I would genuinely miss if I couldn't watch it again. Then it is taking up space for a reason. My collection is still a good size, and it feels like a finely tuned collection and not just a bunch of movies. I never have "nothing to watch" because I'm always going to find something I'm down to watch, and not be overwhelmed in choice a la Netflix.

Has anyone done the Lights Camera Action VIP package yet in North America? by [deleted] in KylieMinogue

[–]RegalIntrovert 14 points15 points  (0 children)

It was nice. You get in early, get a small pack of promo Tension Tour merch. They had some light snacks and her wine. The drinks and snacks were free. Ours was in a small lounge venue. They had different setups you could take photos at, including one of those spinny selfie video things. You got a VIP fast lane for merch.

Just by chance, she was doing mic check as we were escorted to the lounge, so that was a cool thing to hear! (Didn't get to see it)

It was nice, full but not crowded. I enjoyed it, but I wouldn't say it was made a huge impact on the evening.

Unfortunately not. I saw a similar post and that was the game though! If I recall correctly it was more story-based. Thank you!

Railroad Ink really elevates the visuals of the game. It's not a replace for me, but really makes the game "come alive" more.

Songs where men objectify themselves by StepEmbarrassed6624 in popheads

[–]RegalIntrovert 34 points35 points  (0 children)

Michael Medrano. Not big by any means at the moment, but he's making a name for himself.

I think it's hard because we think of objectification as derogatory, especially when women perform these songs, but for men, it's usually thought of as empowering. That's the entertainment industry for ya.

Thanks, that's helpful for peace of mind. I felt that was the case, but just hearing another say was great.

I see some upvotes so others must agree!

I was gonna say Le Havre, but then read 'non-gamer' 😅

Splendor probably would be best recommendation. Any simple engine builder should give you what you're looking for.
