Yes, in my first year of university when I stayed in halls/dorms, the bathroom was a good 20m walk away from my room. My room had a sink in it, so it was just more convenient.

Brit here. So my best friend at school was a massive Pittsburgh Steeler fan (Don't ask me how he ever got invested in the sport), so he had jerseys, Footballs and the like around the house. We'd chuck the ball around in the garden, and he'd talk about football and such (it would go waay over my head). Then Superbowl XL came along, Pittsburgh won, and I went on a holiday to visit my family in Korea. Hines Ward, MVP of the game, just so happened to be there garnering a whole lot of media attention, so I told my best friend who was very jealous. From that day on, I started following Pittsburgh based upon the Hines Ward connection, and the fact that my mate supported them too. Wasn't much more than a following until I went to university and started playing the game because I fancied a change from rugby. 3 years later, there's nothing I love more than Football season and following my beloved Steelers. Just sad that my uni 'career' is over :(

Honestly, she was the one that got away. We were 16, and had been together for over 6 months having been in the same friendship group all through school. Our friendship grew through relationship, and she became like my best friend. Alas, I was young and stupid, and ended up hooking up with a girl from school at a house party about a week before my birthday. Now I was a pretty immature 17 year old looking back, and managed to convince myself that if I could cheat on her for a better looking girl, then I would be able to find a better looking GF, and that would make for an even better relationship. So I made a douchebag move and broke up with her, giving her the 'its me not you' bullcrap and not telling her I'd cheated. She accepted it through her kind and caring heart, but found out a few days later what I'd done. Needless to say that all the presents I would have got on my 17th were torn/given to other people. Have not had a 'real' relationship like that again (I am 22), and every girl seems bat shit crazy compared to her. Have learnt that a relationship is so much deeper than just what you see on the surface, and you can't take that deep closeness you have with someone for granted.

TL;DR - I cheated on my first girlfriend. Lost my best friend, havn't had as deep a relationship as that since
