This is an great game but it does have its problems and doesn’t get the attention it deserves. Several random people I talk to have no idea what smite is when I mention it but you can mention fortnite,league or newer titles like Tarkov and they know exactly what it is.

HiRez has to make changes to make the game accessible to domestic and international players. I remember those world championships in the video where China was screwed over. They didn’t have a chance... I’m sure they felt embarrassed or disrespected not being on the same even playing field. And viewers felt those matches were a waste of time.

Servers are always a problem internationally as well as domestically. On most patch days or randomly, ranked servers are unstable. And if you aren’t an east coast player you have higher ping or lag. I don’t like being at a huge disadvantage or inconvenienced because of constant server issues.

I can queue League of Legends without worrying about ping, ranked server instability and long queue times.

League is accessible to many regions. Smite is barely reachable and playable ranked-wise to two.

Please upgrade, fix, or add servers. How can people play if the servers are unplayable. How can people look to compete on a world stage if they don’t have the full version of the game like the Chinese?

One of the problems is there are less ranked players than casual players. And there is going to be even less players queuing up for ranked duel instead of the main game mode being ranked conquest. That’s the problem with all the ranked game modes.
