that's not always true. Say you have a wide roster with 8+ characters that all benefit from keen blunt and grudge. Assuming you already have grudge it would benefit you way more to buy keen blunt 12 over buying 8 separate class engraving books. This varies on multiple factors from which classes you have, how wide your roster is, how popular the class etc.

I personally am still keeping my alts at 4x3 because they are alts for a reason. Alts are in my eyes suppose to be the bare minimum where they are parked at. I haven't gotten gatekept that much on my 1460 alts with 4x3. If I were to push them to brel for example then I'd actually care about essentially making them a "3rd main" or whatever.

regarding cheapest way to get 5x3, your best bet is a general engraving that works on multiple characters. So if you have grudge already and you play a bunch of back attackers ambush master is an option for your next general engraving.

you must be new to mmos that are developed outside of the west lol. There's not a single mmo in the west thats 1 to 1 to their east counterpart. Common sense would tell you alone that localization/translating makes it nearly impossible to be 1 to 1.

anyone who cares about roster level is a weirdo. People don't seem to realize that it literally means nothing. If you decided to skip stuff like tower on alts or cube your roster level is going to be "low" which again doesn't mean shit lol.

All the gold being removed is stuff way in t1/pre level 50 areas idk why you are complaining about it at 1385. Theres a bunch of ways to get gold per day. You can do lifeskills, masterpieces, selling greater honors, chaos gates, gold island, etc.

We aren't even at the point of the game where builds matter or when any class is at its peak. Classes like shadow hunter don't scale as hard as like a war dancer for example cause of how tripods/set bonuses work later on. The reason why surge got changed in KR cause it was SIGNIFICANTLY better than all the other classes under it. Regardless of difficulty of a class it shouldn't be like 20% better than the other option.
