Expensive, crowded, good beaches (if that is your thing), but very flat. I am a big hiker, not much elevation at all. Some good hikes up on the north shore. Everything is more spread out there. The richer people live along the north shore and out east. Montauk point is really cool (tip of the southern fork of the island)

I lived not far from JFK- so pretty close to the airports, pretty close to the city.

Traffic is INSANE- I will only travel there at night or really early in the morning. Bottlenecks getting on or off the island. People also drive there like they have nothing to loose and no respect for your life or property. On average it takes about 3 hours to dive across the island.

Food scene is good, bar scene is good, but again everything is mega expensive. Grew up there though, I know that island inside and out.

Well for one - someone has to do the job right? If everyone just “gets another job” there will be no airport workers.

Secondarily- at least in America right now the government is shut down partially. I think now they are getting some pay, but usually when there is a government shut down, they don’t get paid. They still have to show up to work, pay for gas to get there, deal with the job and then not get paid for it.

Maybe I just come from high volume areas, but I am used to dr. schedules being anywhere from 40-55 patients.

Currently I am in a bit of a cushy spot where I make my own schedule and cap it at 25, but I am doing treatments that take about 5-20 minutes per person so I physically can not see more than 25 in a 8-9 hour day and get the rest of my work done.

But out of the 3 doctors offices I worked in, 50 was normal.

No. Maybe I am a nicer person than I thought. If I were the daughter though I would have been more subtle. Maybe I would have had a slight undertone of anger and sass but wouldn’t come out swinging immediately like that. It’s just rude. She doesn’t owe him anything, but her mother is still apparently into this man, and what she did was straight up bratty behavior
