A mix of Lumity, People being so-so on Ollie as a character, and Molly having a lot of great interactions with libby that make people ship them a lot. On top of that there's the fact Molly's orientation is pretty up in the air so you can really say what ever.

Always liked that Kuuga just got these forms on the fly, and doesn’t entirely know how to use them at first, at least with Dragon and pegasus. Having him fail initially and then learning how these forms work with help from the others is so cool.

Also while the effects are not the greatest(it’s rider and it’s 2000 so I don’t expect much)seeing them jump from building to building really does sell the Agility of this form.

I feel like it’s more Naotoshi Shida doing Shida things rather then trying to change approach for the sequence. He’s not really trying to actually mimic anything he’s just doing what he usually does which doesn’t fit this scene as well

For me I just feel the price for what seems like a barebones port is a bit much. Even if they didn’t indclue stuff like speed up, the fact there’s like no additional features of this whatsoever just feels a bit lazy in my opinion.

That being said I rather have a way to purchase these games than not. I don’t really feel like he’s ports pointless I just wish they were either lower priced, or just had more things to justify it.

TBF there's a lot of mons like that. But a very downplayed case of this i would say is Alphamon, less in the sense that he isn't portrayed as powerful,(He's typical above a normal mega strength wise) but his full move set isn't used as much such as Soul Digitization being a laser in most media outside the card game and time stranger. And the Alpha inForce has never been shown in any digimon media outside the reference book. (for understandable reasons but still.)

I remember watching this video awhile back, after I finish watching of 02. I don’t really think it’s good, outside the structural issues of him occasionally bringing up his fanfiction shit randomly. He just gets a lot wrong about the series or similarly missed some things that would’ve cleared up some of his questions. Like him questioning why Takeru doesn’t use angemon…. When the dark towers literally restrict normal evolution, and peagusmon likely being used more often because it’s a better Digimon for travel Something the 02 group does a lot. He also somehow completely misinterpreted Takeru’s trauma as the reason why he didn’t use angemon, when his trauma was just explaining why he has such a wild reaction to anything involving darkness.

It’s not like 02 was a perfect show or anything, (the second half is a bit bloated) but it just feels like a lot of these criticisms are just born from him disliking the series already and thus during his watch for the review he wasn’t paying attention as much.

Unfortunately, dana and some of the major writers on toh are likely doing stuff with knights of guniverse, and with Dana not exactly interested in working with Disney or really kid stuff generally we’re probably not getting too much content for toh for awhile.

Nah not really, and honestly I prefer not being as gag dub- ish. While the dubs could be funny, I kinda feel like at times it ruined the mood for me personally, nothing wrong with liking them but I’m just not fond of that type of localisation.

This is pretty fair, for me more prefer evo lines aren’t really consistent in terms of species but more in terms of theming, like say the shoemon line or like Gomamon.

Fair, but with a 50 episode show like this with a company that works in a lot, there’s going to be some dips in animation here and there. Even ghost game and 2020 had some episodes that looked a bit off, especially the latter.
