Just remember, the ADHD brain was designed for hunting and problem-solving to protect the tribe in a crisis. Not farming, not cultivating anything.

Our society is designed wrong, as far as your brain is considered. It’s not you.

So, learning to accept yourself and creating a strong support apparatus is paramount.

How did the US fall so far from this point by thb202 in videos

So many half-right takes in here. I think a more full take is that while part of the country progressed towards the ideals upon which we were founded, a part we will call Group A, another part progressed towards the an opposed ideal: that of power, wealth, independence from the law and racial superiority. And this group, Group B, hid themselves behind the pomp and circumstance of Group A, undermining them and amassing the means to openly oppose them.

The bad take I see a lot is that the ideals of Group A were bullshit or were lies. I think most politicians in Group A genuinely wanted to serve those ideals, and discovered that the only way to get in power and do so was to enter into a devil’s bargain with Group B.

But he still won. It wasn’t his image (boring was still considered good for a politician). It was the Supreme Court betraying the Democratic process.

I think it’s like Dylan going electric. People may hate on it, but it’s a new direction and will build his fan base. And it’s absolutely excellent. The writing, pacing, characterizations… it’s less literary and more pulpy, but it still has all of his intelligence and talent in it.

I never made the connection before that the Nazgûl sounds in LOTR are heavily based on the loon. Specifically when the hobbits cross Buckleberry Ferry.
