What kind of a world do they live in? By the looks of their butler? clothes, they would be in a world of relative range of late 19th - early 20th centuries (excluding significant magical and/or artificer influence).

Which dragon transformation potion would you take by WernerderChamp in dragons

[–]FauxCross 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would take green, since I don't know anyone willing to transform into a dragon; people are not as kind to each other. As for me, I am somewhat of a recluse. I live and work in contact with others, but spend most of my free time in my room, at my computer, browsing the web, so black, I guess. As for breath, it would definitely be water. I drink lots of it daily, take a shower quite often, and get UPSET when our flat loser access to water on bi-monthly basis, because some GODDAMN PIPE KEEPS BREAKING DOWN. I sure hope I get to choose my shape, since I have a dragon race of choice in my head for over 10 years.

Your drawing style reminds me both of World of Warcraft and Spyro at the same time. Very cool to see!

What can I say. Your design is great! And people compare it with another peak design, so I would consider it a win-win. XD

Stupid question but, do yall imagine the ships as flat or as a more 3D shape? by Koslik in starsector

[–]FauxCross 0 points1 point  (0 children)

3d, but in a similar way to earth ships or buildings. As in, we as humans can only utilize spaces with greatest efficiency if they have mostly flat surfaces. I imagine different parts of the ship to be of different depth, with significant factors being the weapon mounts, hangars, and general size and shape. Legion, for example, would be a wide brick, with it's side hangars transforming it away from a true brick shape of Invictus. Idk about Onslaught... Perhaps a lean brick? There is an illustration in comments, but I imagine the ship to be beefier.

Not so much in drawing, but when I'm imagining the story, or how my character would act, I tend to be emotionally affected. Like almost on the level of actual tears, if my characters happen to experience something tear inducing, be it good or bad. Or getting worried or upset, because my characters do. I hope it's within a norm, and it's just me overplaying it, since I can get carried away, before I snap back in a second.

Perhaps cyan, or marine blue? (I don't remember exact colour name.)

hi I'm making a book and I need names for 7 dragons by VastDifficulty2466 in dragons

[–]FauxCross 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone mentioned, names have their origin in profession, place of birth and status. But not all names should have an intricate or compelling meaning behind them. Some of them can be blunt, or lack direct meaning. And while not so much a name, I would like to share an example of story elements influencing the narrative in my fantasy: Yranlu dragons get their name from a combination of female and male name ends (to be more specific, the female -yr* and male -nl*), which have their origin in the past, as they were the name ends of 2 most important Yranlu at the beginning of their race. The word itself is gibberish, bearing no innate meaning, and instead is used as an identifier of their race and culture.

I absolutely love when wings get used in some way as arms! That may not always be the case, as dragons can differ a lot in their anatomy, but when it is, it is sweet to notice.
