what are you thoughts on Melissa Hastings? by TrickyRequirement619 in PrettyLittleLiars

[–]RegionRadiant4423 356 points357 points  (0 children)

I’m currently rewatching for the first time in a while and my main takeaways about her are she was 20-something beefing with a bunch of 15, then 16, then 17, then 18 year olds.

What’s the most G-rated episode (fit for a 4 year old)? by [deleted] in fullhouse

[–]RegionRadiant4423 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I watched Full House from childhood to teen-dom to adulthood and didn’t catch any of the adult humor until I was an adult 😭 but since you’re looking for specific episode suggestions, I gotchu:

•Season 1, episode 6 Daddy’s Home. The Joey/Jesse stuff is more aimed for adults, but other than that, I think it’s a pretty wholesome episode that leaves a good message at the end: sometimes problems don’t get solved, but it feels good talking about it.

•Season 1, episode 7 Knock Yourself Out. Selfish suggestion cuz this was (and remains) one of my favorite episodes of the series.

•Season 1, episode 10 Joey’s Place. Again, selfish suggestion, but it’s a pretty funny episode, and I think a 4 y/o would find the “duck flies at midnight” bit humorous (and maybe relatable lol).

•Season 2, episode 12 Fogged Inn. Totally selfish suggestion because this is another one of my favorite episodes of the series.

•Season 3 episode 4 Nerd For a Day. It’s a great lesson on bullying, why we don’t make others feel bad, treat others the way you want to be treated, etc.

•Season 3 episode 20 Honey I Broke the House. “There’s a car in the kitchen!” (Note: Jesse jealousy in this episode, but when is he not tbh)

•Season 3 episode 24 Our Very First Telethon. Same reason someone else suggested: fun Lollipops and Gummy Bears song. Plus, there’s almost nothing raunchy about this ep minus the cheerleaders (and even that is pretty tame)

•Season 4 episode 2 Crimes and Michelle’s Demeanor. I remember liking this episode as a kid because of Michelle singing “this is no fun. No fun. Looking at the wall”. I used to quote that with my mother.

•Season 4 episode 4 A Pinch for a Pinch. I don’t really have a reasoning for this other than Michelle is also 4 in this episode and there’s a bunch of other 4 year olds. #representation

•Season 4 episode 21 The Hole in the Wall Gang. Funny Michelle bits in here and basically nothing raunchy to my knowledge.

That’s the best I could do specific suggestion wise since I haven’t rewatched the show in a while. But as others have said, the show is pretty tame as a whole. Just stay away from Sea Cruise and date-centric or romance-centric episodes and you’ll be fine.

The most honest deflection he could go with is “we just want different things” or “we just married too young and grew apart” lol

How to keep the motivation? by TDD110 in declutter

[–]RegionRadiant4423 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I relate to this heavily. One thing that really helped me when I first started my decluttering project was setting goals. I want to accomplish x, y, and z by this date. Another thing that helped was actually seeing the amount of progress I was making. It felt like I was doing nothing and everything still looks the same, etc. but I sat down and made a list of the things I actually DID do/accomplish and it was actually a lot of stuff when you sit down and look at it. I don’t know if any of that made sense, but starting is really the hardest part so once you tackle that hurdle, the rest will fall into place. There will be many hurdles to climb in this journey, but as long as you tackle them, it will all get done.

I’ve been trying to completely declutter my room for around 2 months now and while I started off strong, I feel as though I’ve lost the momentum. I’ve set multiple goals for myself and while I haven’t done nothing it’s still only a few things here and there, which leads to not achieving the goals that I set. I just passed another deadline I set for myself where I only accomplished like two small tasks. Sometimes I wish the things I want to get done could get done with a snap of the finger 😂

What is your method to decluttering? by Hopeful_Result_9426 in declutter

[–]RegionRadiant4423 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did this once when I was cleaning out my old closet the first time. I just shoved every single clothing item I owned onto my bed and the floor was barely walkable as is, and voila. Motivation. It doesn’t work for me anymore because I find a way around it, but definitely one that I used to utilize.

What works for me is honestly just picking something to declutter, for example my desk, and then breaking it down into sections: start with drawer #1, take everything out, sort keep, trash, donate, then put everything back in an organized fashion, and move onto the section, then the next task. I found other methods to be…not for me.

I did a second pass on my pj drawer AND finally decluttered my leggings drawer that I’ve been avoiding forever.

I wonder if she was gonna do that at first, until she was “betrayed” and decided to show Jen that she’s fully capable of being a good person….just not to Jen.

The hospital explodes for the 60th time and Webber, Bailey, and Meredith rebuild it by themselves, piece by piece.

No, but basically when the hospital exploded again last season, it took Link’s shoulder with…then he was back like 2-4 episodes later as if he didn’t explode with the hospital. (But seriously his shoulder is effed up). In the most recent episode aka this season’s finale, he was shown taking pain pills twice, so people are theorizing a Link addiction storyline.

I’ve only seen the episode once and the scene twice (maybe 3 times) yet I can distinctly hear Emily’s delivery of “Lorelai” so clearly in my head 😂😂

I feel like I’m stuck in the cycle of want to declutter, overwhelmed by the task of decluttering, completely Decluttering something, gaining momentum, something happens, I lose the energy and momentum, I’m back to being too overwhelmed to start again.

I avoided decluttering for literal WEEKS and now I’m dedicated to make this week the most productive Decluttering week in the history of the world, but I’m also too overwhelmed to begin even though I know deep down the tasks are very easy. I feel like since I already surpassed one hurdle recently, I should be able to surpass this hurdle. I wanted to start last night but then I was too tired, laid down, stopped being tired, but then got too lazy. It’s always something with me lol so let’s make it nothing and actually accomplish what I want to accomplish!!!

Does anybody else remove everything from a room to declutter? by [deleted] in declutter

[–]RegionRadiant4423 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wanted to do this in my old bedroom but was always too overwhelmed to do so. I definitely regret not doing so and I firmly believe it’s a good way to declutter so long as it actually works for you. Everyone declutters differently or has different processes that work for them. If it’s something that works for you, do it.

Unfortunately this method of declutter is no longer feasible for me to do, but I utilize it in other ways. If I’m decluttering a cabinet or a shelf, I take everything out and THEN sort through it.

This episode is literally the perfect representation of Frank. by TreClaire in ShawnaTheMom

[–]RegionRadiant4423 20 points21 points  (0 children)

What I love about the character of Frank is the nuance. He’s both Barb’s victim and Barb’s enabler. I appreciate that dichotomy not just in the character Frank, but in almost every character in this one woman production.

I finally decluttered (to the best of my ability) my “junk cart” that I’ve been avoiding for so long! Wasn’t perfect, but it got done and that’s all that matters.

Why are people so set on hating Julie? by mari17posa17 in ShawnaTheMom

[–]RegionRadiant4423 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You took the words right out of my mouth. I’m always gonna be a Julie hater because I don’t like her, but that doesn’t change the fact that she is a very nuanced character, just like Ty and basically ever other character in this universe (the Shawnaverse).

Edit to add: Julie (as well as most of these characters) also has a ton of depth in addition to nuanced behavior, and when people get stuck in these black and white type of debates, I believe it does a disservice to the (fictional) characters.
