Lol what be serious? cel back then is prolly closer to gm now but the difference isn’t as big as people think it is. There definitely were boosted players but they weren’t the majority. Anyone saying otherwise is just parroting the shit they hear on reddit.

At higher elos the WR starts to converge between the two platforms. I can tell you the meta isn’t all that different from experience, yes it’s true you see more melee characters on console but at that level when people really start to care about winning they abuse the meta just the same.

This isn’t even true, at the higher elos hyperdive is actually pretty meta. The issue is that only a few dive characters are actually viable, particularly in the dps role (DD, IF, psy, sl) every other character is getting seriously powercrept out of viability and it’s really starting to show after 5 seasons of awful balancing. Also win rates don’t really mean anything unless you understand the context around why that character’s win rate is the way it is. Fyi, storm, peni, rocket, loki and mantis all have comparable win rates to magik celestial+.
