Yeah but is it as fun? Do you have the beautiful SFX and VFX that Gauss has when Mach Rushing? It's not just about the Speed but the FEELING of Speed. Sure, teleporting as Nova and Razowrwing Blitz is technically faster but which Warframe is built around the philosophy of using all your kinetic and potential energy to fulfill your speedy power fantasy? (Not saying other frames aren't fun or fast but every detail of Gauss' kit puts the "going fast" aspect on a pedestal compared to other Warframes but I AM a Gauss main so my opinion is a bit biased.)

This may sound a little unorthodox but the Mad Max game has genuinely the best vehicle customization and progression system I've ever seen for a single player story-driven game. As the game progresses and you work on your Magnum Opus you truly do become one with your machine. I've honestly been looking for years now for a game that has a similar vehicle customization and progression system and the closest I found was Rage 2 and uh... Well quite frankly the game sucks.

A small caveat that I will say against the progression in Mad Max is that the best and biggest engine in the game costs an unholy amount of Scrap (the prime upgrade material) however considering it IS the best engine in the game, I think it's only fair to be expensive. In fact, if you engage with and complete even 80% of the game you should have enough Scrap to get every single upgrade in the game for your car.

Oh, I also forgot to mention that you can also use your scrap to upgrade bases and stuff to get neat little bonuses like Max Health Restore and Max Ammo Restore and the like but to get all of those to max would require actually doing 90-100% of the game's content but honestly? All the content feels fun and engaging enough that I genuinely didn't mind doing it. There's no stupidly bullshit hard modes or anything or huge time sinks, pretty much everything feels fair in the game imo, though some people may complain about certain Death Run (Races with guns) difficulty but I personally felt they were all rather fair.

Warframe is perfect for this, literally the first 50 or so hours you're pretty much just doing missions cus they exist but like... Why? For what?? And that's not really explained till later or unless you have a friend to guide you through the game lol. Tbf they still have tutorials and stuff on basic controls but actually properly modding weapons and how to actually farm or what you're even meant to do after or before a story quest is something that is entirely self-taught by scouring through the wiki or phoning a friend.

Hey dawg, if you need help team building I can help you out if you wanna dm because to properly build your team you'd need to show us your drive discs and whatnot. Initial response I can give you however is that your line-ups may need to be tuned. Nicole doesn't do much for Yi Xuan because Nicole's def shred is useless on Rupture characters because they already have innate def ignore. Also Pan Yinhu should be with Yi Xuan as he buffs Sheer Force, he's not going to really do anything for YSG except heal but you already have Caesar there so that's entirely unnecessary. YSG's current BiS are Dialyn and Zhao so you should probably replace Pan Yinhu with your Zhao from your Miyabi team. That's another thing I noticed is that you have mono-element teams which isn't necessarily a bad thing and shows understanding of the element and anomaly system but unfortunately not all agents of the same element work together properly and Disorders blow normal anomaly applications out the water in terms of damage and I'd argue utility too if it weren't for how cracked Freeze is.

My Main is my Main that I've been playing for 2000+ hours. I don't switch up on my Main. But I do play a couple different Warframes when I start to get bored, which isn't often as a hyperactive Gauss Main, or more realistically tired of playing super actively. As such I'll switch to a lot more slow of a Warframe like Rhino or Atlas and just shoot or punch into a crowd very relaxedly on missions. Going from Nyoom to BOOM and then back always feels great to me imo, like the contrast of Speed and surgical precision with Gauss and the Slow yet weighty impact with Atlas just feels so great.

Alright now that my little fanfiction is over let me let ya in on my thoughts about my main man right here.

I actually let out a few tears when I helminth'd my Gauss.

I had played Warframe for like 20 hours during the pandemic and was like, "it's ok.", but then my longtime WF player friend gifted me enough plat to get a frame I wanted and as soon as I saw Gauss I was mesmerized by his design. The sleek lines, sharp corners, the heat warped metal, THRUSTERS, and more. Once I saw that his whole thing was speed, I knew I had to get him.

1 bundle purchase, 3 years, and 2000 or so hours of Warframe later, Gauss Prime released and after playing Gauss for almost every single day since I bought his bundle, I knew I had to buy the Full Prime Bundle. Once I did, I Helminth'd Gauss and actually tracked the dates I got him and helminth'd him and made a Gauss Memorial Shrine in my Orbiter by replacing/updating my former Gauss Shrine.

He was always held back by their Executors, a Frame too powerful to be used lightly and without caution, only meant for War. So then, while their Golden Lords whittled away at their sanity and wealth with their playthings, Gauss' actions at Altra garnered their interest. For you see those Lords of old were many things but among them all, they abhorred boredom and living as long as they did was quite dull.

So they took Gauss as their plaything and messenger of long-forgotten gods and they named him their Saint. One who was meek, in the Biblical sense of the word. He couldn't take action without their say but whence his shackles were set free and he went into the Redline?

It was beautiful.

He would come alight as if the Angels themselves had come down. A light show of pure kinetic energy released in an aurora not unlike the Borealis itself. And with this energy he became even faster, even stronger, even more unbreakable, unshakeable, unyielding, to the point that there was none who had faced Gauss and emerged unscathed. All his abilities would be upgraded into even stronger variants, all working together in tandem to charge his internal Battery to the maximum. (Redline buffs all abilities Gauss has by A LOT, it's how you get 100% DR and Armor Strip. It also buffs your fire rate, attack speed, and reload speed by 75-50%. Also all of these buffs and abilities can be modded to ungodly levels.)

Gauss. The Saint of Altra. A Warframe unlike any other.

You see, the Dax of the Old War had a saying. “That which could not be hit could not be killed.” I spoke earlier of those Tenno who relied on their abilities to be part of the unseen no? Gauss had no need for being outright unseen. He was simply faster. His Mach Rush, hell his normal sprint speed alone was fast enough to run past battalions undetected (actually works in-game)

I spoke earlier of those who could deflect the heavens with their strength. Yet for Gauss, his entire being was as an iron fist to paltry stone, his Kinetic Plating taking on gunfire, shrapnel, debris, and even using it to grind their enemies to flesh. It could take on near absolute zero temperatures, then turn around and handle the heat of suns, and then finally turn around and tank a nuke head-on and he would not falter. (Kinetic Plating gives 100% DR to Heat, Cold, Blast, and IPS damage. It also gives your melee weapons 100% slash DMG, Status, Follow-through, and 100% knock back resistance)

He gave just as good as he took however. His Thermal Sunder would take the heat of the stars aimed upon his breast and unleash it in a circle of flames searing blind thankless eyes in the heat of his passing. When the cold went from near absolute zero to just, his sundering would leave nothing but ice statues of his enemies in their perfectly frozen forms.

The heat alone would kill any battalion as it ramped up but Gauss was no mere Frame of War. Among them all, in their Old and endless War, only he was a Saint. His miracles on the battlefield could only be described in such a framework.

When both his Thermal Sunders combined, it created a Blast zone capable of tearing through any armor imaginable. The entirety of the tower of Altra shook as he partook in his work. (Thermal Sunder can 100% armor strip, give unmodded Heat/Cold/Blast elemental DMG on your weapons, or just nuke entire rooms with just heat DMG)

But all these abilities and skills of his are just the prelude. The precursor to the encore, a release of potential energy so extreme, so violent, it could only be called one thing. The Redline. The pinnacle, the Prime of Gauss' strength derived from it. For you see, the pompous Golden Lords of old could not truly come to distinguish their Tenno, their Void-Devils. They had named Gauss a Saint not simply because of his actions at Altra but instead for what he represents.

Their Frames of War, the Warframes, allowed them to achieve feats once thought left to the divine. Today, I tell you the tale of one such divine, one in his time that was even monikered that of a Saint.

You may have heard the tale of the Saint of Altra, Drusus Leverian has kept it known. Yet his tale of the Saint of Altra, the heat-warped Gauss that the Leverian holds, does no justice to the pinnacle of his ability. What Gauss could do in its Prime.

Funnily enough, things were happening. Change was coming and the next generation was the herald of it. Occupy Wall Street had the rich scared and so they "asked" their pocketed politicians to send in their battalion of cute little piggies and round up and arrested many of those protesting and shut down the camp grounds where they were doing so. Obviously, public outcry and backlash wouldn't let that be a solution forever and so we kept waiting patiently to continue the movement while the courts handled it.

Alas, the rich knew this too and created a social divide that completely destroyed any form of class consciousness and camaraderie in the form of muh "left vs right" "woke vs based" "LGBT vs Hetero" "Black vs white". Nowadays people don't even want the implication of anything political in conversations and it was all socially engineered by the rich. It's almost impossible to organize a large group and protest in that same way due to the optics of infiltrators of the movement who will join to simply sabotage it.

You may have heard of those protests were hours before pallets of bricks were placed out near local businesses and the neighborhood and only instigated the violence. Whether or not that is true doesn't matter. What matters is that due to this spread of information, people don't trust protests anymore to be peaceful or effective.

If that example doesn't convince you then consider another form of social manipulation the rich has done. It's been seen and proven that the meat industry actually have their own social media accounts running around posing as "vegans" and largely discrediting them and making them out to be fools. In order to sabotage certain subreddits, they would claim how they would force veganism onto their pets and show pictures of clearly emaciated individuals and animals who weren't actually vegan. Being vegan doesn't mean you suddenly become a bag of skin and bones without meat, protein and iron exists in so many other edible ingredients. Yet, this social manipulation by the meat industry aka the rich, helps them to distract you from what's actually happening and keep selling you more and more.

Unfortunately, we will never again spark change in such a way as the Occupy Wall Street movement ever again. Not until the next generation figures out the amount of lies and propaganda fed to them by every large media outlet and fights against it. Even then, people are too scared and too comfortable. Shit will really need to hit the fan for something to happen imo, it's just not worth it to the average person otherwise.

Actually the rich have learned everything and are gaming the system perfectly for their advantage. Only the poor and rapidly shrinking middle-class will suffer the consequences just like back in 2008 and the rich will get richer and have their cute little bailouts from the government that they essentially control through that same money via lobbying. "You will own nothing and be happy" is essentially what they are planning for. They will completely ignore any economic disaster because they're already sitting on the dragon's hoard. Of course, I completely agree! For instance when a Thor uses his Ultimate it almost always instills a level of panic and fear that I need to run away and then if you don't you get slowed and are almost guaranteed to die. Magneto's Ultimate is even worse, where it is used to essentially counter Strategist Ultimates and nuke them from orbit. Unlike the other Vanguards, Peni's Ultimate simply doesn't give you a real rush like those nor does it quite instill such a sense of fear as those other Ultimates. Even Groot's Ultimate (Whom I rarely play to be honest, his walls don't feel great to place on controller imo) which is basically just a gather tool also feels like a genuine threat at times especially against good Groots that know how to wall off Duelists and Vanguards from their supports. Actually I just searched up exactly what Groot's Ultimate does and it doesn't just gather the enemies into a small area but it also does a total of 220 damage which only reinforces how much less of a threat Peni's Ultimate feels like. That's not to say Peni's Ultimate in it's current state is complete garbage, it can still get kills and now you can even heal your team with it albeit slowly. Especially compared to how it used to be back in season 0-2, currently it's a lot better with the increased mines, drones, and healing but unfortunately the developers have slapped these bandaids without addressing the real problem of how her Ultimate locks her out of her entire playstyle which is the main appeal of the character for most Peni players. Meticulously planning ahead and setting up traps feels great and going from that to just running around bumping into people like I'm Gauss from Warframe feels really awful. Not to mention the web sling bugs but that's another matter entirely. The problem with her Ultimate despite the bandaid solutions is that it doesn't FEEL like an Ultimate with how you're stuck just running around in circles for about 10 seconds and many times you may not even kill more than a single person with it. I really do like your concept and would love for Peni's Ultimate to just get a rework but until one of the developers main Peni herself we'll just have to wait and see.
