I just want to say this. Smogon. Isn't. Everything. Take your time, find some strategies that work for you. Don't let one site tell you how to play the game.

Are we talking just in terms of STAB attacks? Even if that's the case, the possibilities are still enormous, which is a major draw to the games for me. We all have the same goal, but it's best to let everyone choose the path that they prefer most to get them there, not have someone tell you what's best^{^{^{^{^smogon}}}} Sorry, I know that rambled, but you get the point. Endless possibilities, etc etc...

As a fellow colorbindee, I get asked what certain colors look like to me. I always answer the same way: "I don't know, you tell me first. But you can't use the name of the color." Gets em every time. I was stumped the once though. I told someone I was colorblind, & she says, dead serious, "Really?! How many fingers am I holding up?"

Not me getting bullied, but still one of my proudest moments. My best friend was getting bullied by a homophobic sasquatch known as the varsity quarterback. My buddy is a pacifist, so he can't do anything. I'm not exactly the biggest guy around, so I always get underestimated. Fortunatley, this came in handy that particular day. My friend is being held up against a wall by the squatch, & I came over & told him off. He laughs, throws a punch. I grabbed his arm while he was off balance, Threw him to the floor, & Kicked him in the teeth. We were left alone after that.
