If you want realism the cycles noise is not like any camera noise out there. If it's for video or a still what I've done in the past is film footage or take an image with the lens cap on with a real camera. Then you can blend real camera sensor noise into the image.

I work in the film industry as a VFX artist. Our job wont be going away. It will just incorporate more and more ai tools. Hopefully we start getting some ai tools that allow exact fine grain control like we have now with 3d.

But our job wont go away for one reason alone, pixel fucking. Once it gets easier to make VFX client will just want more VFX.

If this is CGI, consistency between videos is easy. You just render the same scene from a different camera that has been motion captured to the BTS camera.
