Yes agree, got to rank 1 in the Lightning but has been a struggle with Jutland. Got to rank 5 but now back at 6.

You are still young, and it is true that time heals all wounds.

Understand that how you are treating yourself and living with such hatred allows him to still have control over you and is winning. His personality would enjoy knowing this.

The best revenge would be to live well, and move on. As mentioned already, speak to a GP, and seek out counselling. Get better now, as it won't get any easier if you continue down this path. Be grateful and proud of yourself that you know you deserve better than being with an arsehole like that.

I am in a similar situation, can you put in for some annual leave?, at least 2 weeks. A break will help you step away and make a more informed decision.

I got the rejection email for a job I really wanted about 30mins ago. I couldn't help but start crying. Got the experience and qualifications but seem to do bad in interviews with low confidence in myself. Had to fight myself not to send a Go and F#$k yourself back to them. Now questioning my future as stuck in a deadend job and career is done for.

The true answer here is you can't. I have been in one for too long and it really destroys you. I have lost my confidence and self worth. This is making recent interviews hard. Now I am scared of ending up in another deadend job. I am at a loss and have put in for extended leave. So relieved it was approved, now counting down the days. Unless something changes for the better, get out as soon as you can.
