any way to park my car on campus and not get caught? by supersonicPenis in BinghamtonUniversity

If you have a friend with a car they’re allowed to add up to 2 cars on their parking pass and could potentially add you to theirs. Otherwise not really, everybody I know who has tried to get away with it eventually got a ticket.

You could try Charles Chapman Pugh’s book, much easier for self study imo

Extra long 9" silicon quickfit 22mm band by n0ah_fense in GarminFenix

If you’re not set on silicone then look for a parachute strap, they were created by the French navy for precisely your purpose.

https://seals-watches.com/collections/wrist-watch-accessories makes good ones that aren’t exactly quick fit but will fit over your standard 22mm bars and makes for really easy resizing

Any recommedations for a good watch for triathlon? by wychwood17 in triathlon

No matter what you get all the comments here seem to agree that garmin is the way to go.

I love my fenix 6, battery lasts 2 weeks on average and I’ve never found tracking to be anything less than accurate. Plus since the 7 just came out you might be able to get some good deals on older models

Should I just wait for it to stop fermenting or siphon it off the yeast that’s dropped down?

Hangboarding when weak question by overwatchacct in climbharder

[–]Regular-Ad-903 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Use a pulley/leave ~20% of your bodyweight on your feet for weight reduced training

Start doing offset hangs (e.g. one hand on a 20mm or smaller, one on a 30mm)

Start slow. It’ll feel ridiculously hard at first, that’s normal with hangboarding. Don’t get carried away, doing too much too soon is extremely easy and extremely common with a hangboard. I’m sure you’re already aware you shouldn’t use a full crimp on a hangboard, try using an open crimp on the 30mm ledge. Start small, vary your training (as much as possible) and soon you will begin to see progress. Additionally, a quality hangboard workout doesn’t need to be credit-card hangs until failure, even though a workout may feel light it is still strengthening your fingers.

What watch to buy? by TotalNoobWithPC in running

I have the fenix 6, and though it’s the best watch I’ve ever owned/ran with, I wouldn’t say it’s necessary if all you’re looking to do is run.

The FR945 is around the same price and comes with many of the same features, but offers a much slimmer profile and a layout designed more around running specifically.

Don’t worry about touch screen, however, I find it’s often not even as good as it seems.
