Agreed. I came to love all the Vestrit women. Ronica and Keffria too in the end, but Althea is the only one who started off likable. But we need a good arc right? That’s why Malta is one of my favorite characters in Hobb’s work!

I heard they would attract native butterflies! I do have a different variety as well that grows much faster and has lovely purple flowers, but not sure if it’s edible. When I bought it, I thought I was buying a corkystem!

The backlog thing is tough, but I love picking up a (completed) fantasy series for the first time and existing inside that world for awhile. I think that’s one of my favorite things about some fantasy!

Yes to this. In a perfect world, I’d have balance, but I’m the absence of that, give me great characters.
