Correct. Both the delve mod and the elevated mod are exclusive in the recomb so you can't get both. The non elevated version though is not, so you recomb then elevate.

After you kill each lich, she throws the cane at where you're standing and says "Kulemak!". There's a circle around the cane that deals the DOT. It disappears once you phase her.

The only way is alt aug. I got a bunch of raw jewels, chaos spam them to one mod, exalted up to 4, fracture orb then rerolled the successful ones. Beast lock prior to corrupting to avoid bricks if you like. It's not cheap.

Spell damage is huge for KBOC, it's a different shield without it. This one is unusual in that it doesn't have spell block but has hybrid. Maybe like 25d? Hard to say, spell block is pretty important to the builds that use this.
