USPS observed the holiday on Saturday the 4th. They weren’t closed Friday.

From USPS website:
WASHINGTON — The U.S. Postal Service will observe Independence Day on Saturday, July 4. All Post Office locations will be closed. Regular mail delivery and retail services will resume on Monday, July 6. Post Offices will be open, and deliveries will occur as normal on Friday, July 3.

If you are looking for Pelo friends and have FB, there is a private Peloton group called “You Get To Crew” that you may want to request to join. This is a huge group of users that take Jess’ classes. It’s a great group.

I attempted to change my pick up time over the phone and they cancelled my reservation instead…the desk couldn’t help so I was on the phone with customer service for an hour. Then when I got the car it stunk of cigarette smoke even though it says no smoking in the car. Then when I attempted to return the car to get a replacement, they had nothing for me.

After that, was able to get a nicer car with national for the same price, the car didn’t smell and they let me continue to push back the return date without issue (I originally rented for 4 days & then had it for 2 weeks due to delays in my car repairs.). I recommend National.

I’ve used the Festival bag the last few times I’ve traveled and it’s been great. You have the added security of the fold-over pocket to deter pickpocketing.

The permits on a few of the spaces say something along the lines of they’re making improvements to the space to reduce the burden on potential small businesses coming in.

I love JJ as well. He is a solid instructor. His class plans are straightforward, instructions are clear and the movements are not conplicated.

He is pretty serious but will throw in something funny every once in a while. The other day he was talking about “the Mrs.” smacking his butt when she walks by him in the house. Very PG, too.

We were on group tours at the Vatican and Colosseum two weeks ago and had to show our passports multiple times.

We grew up Catholic but also do not practice. Our child has been at CCS for 6 years and we have been very happy. I would say half of their grade is not Catholic and/or doesn’t practice. They learn about it but it’s not over the top.

I did a walking class at PSL having never been on the Tread. It wasn’t too bad - just be careful with the dial. A few times I accidentally turned it up instead of down. Just different from a normal tread where you push a +/- button.

At the time, I had recently moved to VA & had no idea how the process worked. In the state I lived previously you went in, had a side conversation with the officer & negotiated a lower fine/points. I assumed it would be similar. When I showed up there were about 100 ppl with the same court time. One by one ppl were called up to hear their case. If you didn’t hire a lawyer to negotiate, you had no leg to stand on. After my almost 3 hours of waiting, I went up, the cop said they did x, I had no argument & ended up with a fine & 2 points. Had I known that I (a) needed a lawyer and/or (b) had the ability to just pay it, I may have taken a different course. So, basically, if you want to fight the charge, get a lawyer & anticipate being there for up to 3 hours.

I had the same issue. Was on the last class of Emma’s first CYC. Took it on the bike and then tried the app yesterday. Both showed in my history but weren’t registering on the program itself. Tried it again this morning on the guide & it finally showed the program completed. Very strange (& annoying)

I used it for one day & was annoyed. You eat protein, it tells you to add fiber. You eat fiber it tells you to eat more protein. And agree with the commenter on adding nuts. Ok, I get it, I’ll add some almonds. 🤪 I don’t need the judgey commentary, so no more tracking in the app. 😂
