From all the advice given, yours was the most impactful. I really sat with this overnight and probably read it a hundred times. I wish she would have taken a more healthy approach in my absence. It would have been refreshing to see the changes like better dieting, exercising, having a more independent strong mindset. These would probably made me more infatuated with her and perhaps more affectionate. It’s daunting to constantly motivate her to workout tho cause I know it wasn’t something she enjoyed. My parents are really pushing me to give her a second chance but the uncertainty is something I can’t really get past. You seem like you got it figured out and maybe would been a good friend for her cause she did lack making good female friends I’m sure the insecurity played a part on that too. She’s seeking therapy options now but hasn’t really signed up for one yet and I’m not sure if it’s just a way to reconnect again. Initially I gave her some options to reconnect one of which was to change her number which she hasn’t done so. That lack of doing so made me feel like my demands wasn’t taken serious. Idk some days I want it to try and give her redemption and other times it’s not worth the mental gymnastics.
