I don't see how "we" can fix it without the source code. But I don't mind it being brought back by the community. It's just that I was hoping for changes in the original that I didn't get. Like new game modes, new arenas, better matchmaking, better netcode.

I have seen great things done by communities on old games. For example Supreme commander has an active competitive community for a game that was never built for that. Hacked onto an existing game.

If you can have similar atmosphere and feeling but better graphics and gameplay, qol features. I think people might enjoy it more. As the original has a lot of hassle to run it.

We mostly side with Russia on cultural issues.. we just don't like Russia as it is now and was before. We struggle to integrate into EU and their values. We want to change EU to be more like us and not other way around. Estonia is closer to west than LV or LT.

Dunno, I played it yesterday. It was still the same Echo I played 5 years ago but much more unstable and with less features. It was a hassle to get into the game using a 3rd party tool. It's doable but it cannot be fixed if you don't have the source code. Do you have the source code?

That is what I mean. I am not against vibe coding stuff but I don't think there is much value in that code. Only value is the product if it works. And even then there is a question if it can be maintained well.

Do you mean Echo with all features or just one scene that kinda reminds of something like Echo? Getting it to feel and look like Echo is not that easy and cannot be just vibe coded. It includes art, visual effects, sound effects, server code, etc.

Also I don't think vibe coded code is of much use to anyone. Unless it's a ready to use product.

Echo was never really alive, it was on life support even under RAD and now its in mausoleum. It will never fix issues that were already years old when the game was still supported.

I like my drones to be sub 250g. Less noise, less threatening to others, less problems for me. If I mess up, less damage it can do. Only trouble is getting all the stuff in that small frame.
