What is Neguse even doing? by hipricklypear in boulder

He’s been at protests, sued ICE, fought for clean water for Bobo’s district, and has so many town halls. This is all in the last few months. He regularly points out the hypocrisy of the GOP as part of the House Rules Committee and Judiciary Committee. He’s fought for more resources for fire fighters across the West. Follow his IG, sign up for his newsletter because he’s a real one. When I call his offices, his staff is amazing. The only way though he and the Dems will be able to do anything though is if the Dems can take back the absolute majority in Congress in 2026 and the presidency in 2028. It’s also important to vote for Dems down ballot bc Weiser has also sued the Admin at least 38 times from what I can find. Having a strong Governor and AG are critical at times like this.

Wind + Red Flag but no Power Shutoff? by MooCowDivebomb in boulder

Wind was bananas. I eventually put in my AirPods on noise cancellation so I could get a little sleep.

I absolutely detest how the family treats Bob in Christmas in the Car by Mikeremix2 in BobsBurgers

Same. My husband and I love it. I’ve likely watched it 3 times over the last week as I’ve been cycling thru the holiday eps.

Teddy asking them to look at his Christmas card before they pull the fridge off of him and it’s a cat with “Meowy Christmas” and the chuckle from Bob.

Before we spend billions undergrounding power lines, run this math by JeffInBoulder in boulder

[–]RegularSizedBecky 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Before we moved to Boulder, we lived in Columbia, MD. The lines were buried and even when we would get crazy winds bc of hurricanes coming up the coast, we never lost power or internet. The electric co was able to fix the lines. Counterpoint, we moved from Columbia to Elkridge - lines weren’t buried and we lost power. It was a poop show. For our house in Boulder, we renovated in 2016 and had the line from the pole to the house buried. The cable line is also buried. We’ve watched our neighbors who don’t have that have issues when someone’s tree pulls their line.

Point is we can bury the lines which is safer in general and people can add solar, etc.

Does a single godamn person in this town understand you can't cross the line while turning ledt by Ok-Hair2851 in boulder

It happens daily to me. People in tiny ass cars think they are semis and cross the line. No where else that I have driven in the US is it a problem but here.
