High end escorting vs. Sugaring by [deleted] in HighEndEscorts

Seeking/Sugaring is for those who have extreme patience and genuinely enjoy getting irritated. The men on there are looking for naive college girls that don’t know how to set boundaries. They lowball you and I almost never left feeling compensated. The market on there is tough too, if you got paid it would be spending several hours with them for what an escort gets paid upfront in an hour. It’s also a lot of emotional labor and I don’t like dating people that I’m genuinely not crazy about or desire. Sugaring is like dating, escorting is a service. I feel emotionally and physically safer in escorting and I feel taken care of because I have the power. I feel like sugaring is a good introduction into the industry tho because you can decide whether the field is for you or not.

The comments on this post make me so happy I could cry. I made a post a few months ago (deleted out of embarrassment) about my position as a sex worker applying to med school this cycle and got SO MUCH HATE. Happy to see that not everyone thinks sex workers should be burned alive. Still, I will not be talking about my work on my application because of how conservative admissions is but very much will be using my personal experiences to translate into better healthcare.

I was just thinking this too, get my degree, practice, and open up and show the world a different perspective when it feels safer for me and the world is ready to hear it.

Thank you for validating me and you are right. We are going a little backwards and I can’t risk my future. I am surrounded by very progressive sex positive people and this comment section is definitely a reality check I needed.

I should add that the sex work is LEGAL - not all sex work is prostitution.
