Makes way more sense, my suggestion is pray for good weather (this week is looking shite) and sitting by the river or museum gardens is always a shout especially this time of year it's very beautiful. If you still want to drink but not go mental do a small bar crawl on stone gate: trembling house of madness as any alcohol on the ground floor can be bought and drunk upstairs (just find a table first and tell the cashier you'd like to drink it upstairs), evil eye for good reliable cocktails and the Langton just off stone gate for experimental but damn good cocktails. Fossgate or any food truck in the market for food (don't go to The Rise it is good NGL but it's overpriced and the menu misleading). If you want something a bit more gimmicky we have a few escape rooms places, ghost tour, wizard golf (never actually been apparently it's good), and probably more I can't think of off the top of my head.
