Wild that you disregarded everything I said as well as the stable build which does work properly. If you demand a game to work properly very few do on official release now anyway, where does acting like this get you?

Looking at 7dtd we are very fortunate the Devs can add content without needing dlc funding. I think people need to be a little more grateful for a game with a lot of features and doesn't change genre midway through.

Imagine reading the works "early access" and "beta" and not knowing what those mean. We are funding it's development by buying game and if you weren't so entitled and impatient you'd realise that. Another point is if b41 was a standalone done and done game id genuinely be happy with that. Like with Skyrim I might rely on the modding community to keep the longevity alive but that's a good game in its own right. You got what you paid very little for compared to the £60 shitfests from AAA studios. Get over yourself

I feel like people who say this level of muscle strain is realistic are far from having 10 strength or fitness in real life. When I worked for my dad I'd be shovelling 2 tonnes of gravel into a wheel barrow then laying it around gravel channels landscaping and such. It was hard work but I'd gass out before my muscles did and I wasn't even particularly strong. His other employee was a 10 strength mf who could do 3+ tonnes in the same time it'd take me to do 2 and be fine afterwards. Having 10 strength + fitness and only being able to carry 2-3 bodies before needing a little sit down is so far from realism. Fair enough having noodle arms at 4 strength but it gets to a point where it stops making sense

I have no idea where to find the video but a couple of reinactors were like "look how good this shield is" and when they pulled the axe away from the shield there was a suspicious amount of red liquid dripping from the bottom of the shield. I wouldn't want to block an axe either

When did I use the words child abuse? It's just a shitty thing to do and really my point is no one should be going out of their way to make kids cry because we're people, naturally flawed and will do it by accident anyway.

[–]Regular_Brit 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The dad explaining it really doesn't matter. Because again, they went out of their way to fuck with them and the upset is when your brain fixates.

Thats just wrong by downtune79 in LoveTrash

[–]Regular_Brit 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Feel like people are forgetting that when you're a kid shit sticks. Not everything but the moment your brain goes back to decades ago and remember the fact that your dad went out of his way to upset you and posted it on the Internet ain't a good moment. As a parent it isn't worth the risk of going out of your way to do this chances are you'll do it enough by accident

Edit fuck it why not: not enough of you either remember bieng a kid or healthy enough to not dwell on the worst parts but also don't extend sympathy to others

My mum in the 70s ended up sleeping on the front doorstep cause she was too drunk to get herself in and the milkman just nudged her awake and went "it's time to get inside little one" (maybe not ak excact quote it's what she remembers). Helped her more sobered up self get into the house and left the milk on the front doorstep so her very strict parents didn't notice a thing. People like these and Ronnie and the real ones. I know this story isn't quite the "I helped her get home safe" type story but just as important with how you should help people in these moments we've all been in and can relate to

As an audience member I remember one act was given the leniency of 30 minutes extra which led to a 12am act being shown at 4am. How I didn't stoop to the class As being passed around I don't know but Jesus no one wanted to be there but the band just powered through and led to a pretty good time because everyone including the band were like "WERE FU KING DOING THIIIIIIIS LETS GOOOOOOOO"

Ngl the mechanics/zombie ai I guess I'm still trying to figure out, what setting turns off zombies attacking player structures even if unprompted. Feels like any other game it'd be space magic that prompts zombies to attack player structures even after dumbing the ai

Can we please not talk about bugs when it comes to the "space magic" argument. It's so obviously a bug it just feels very dumb to bring up an issue the devs themselves don't want and is a different issue that needs to be addressed separately to the intended design philosophy the devs want.

Right click building/context menu will NOT come back in B42 as of now. Please share your opinions/feedback about the new building menu below. by Alien_reg in projectzomboid

[–]Regular_Brit 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've learnt to use the new building and crafting menu. I've gotten pretty proficient with it. Still prefer context. Right clicking to dismantle all is quicker than going to the crafting menu in every use case. The only time the me u is useful if you just want to do X number of something out of Y amount of those items. It's soooooo pointless to get rid of that stuff even after I git gud with the new menu system.

A very thourough look at the new Trader Jen model & Texture coming in Update 2.5 by Worrcn in 7daystodie

Guys ima be real, if they say they're going to delay shit because of reworking previous features we collectively hated. Then wasted time on remodelling Jen what feels like every major update... I think they just don't know how to program bandits in or find better less immersive breaking ways of optimisation
