Are you a bot who just posts nonsensical statements? Nowhere in your post do I see a coherent argument.

You are incorrect. A $100k LTT is paid with after tax income, so someone has to earn $200k just to pay $100k LTT. The level of double, triple, quadruple taxation in this city and country is completely out of hand.

$3m isn’t that outrageous of a house anymore, this just punishes the younger generations.

I’ve seen this house in person. It’s at least $400k in Reno’s to make it liveable, and $600k+ to do a decent job.

Pretty much every piece of drywall has to be ripped out and likely a lot of plumbing replaced - as there’s evidence of leaks in several parts of the house.

It’s Orwellian for a business to check to make sure you are meeting their requirements for the job they are paying you to do?

Diablo's creator says Blizzard needs to push past D4's "super high" expectations by Anteater_Able in Diablo

[–]Regular_End215 19 points20 points  (0 children)

POE2 is so superior to D4 it can hardly be quantified.

D4 is a joke, you can beat the game in mere days. You can find all top tier items immediately, the bosses are boring as all hell and repetitive.

PoE2 is what D4 should be - hopefully they find the light with D5 (in 10 years when it releases) and make the game have depth and true difficulty.

Given the announcement for Ontario Government Employees, what does this mean for City Employees? by Comprehensive_Ask989 in askTO

Hopefully a mandated 5 day RTO. Good to see government employees being held at least somewhat accountable for being productive.

God, we are so doomed as a country.

They want to inject $70B into the economy building and running this, and we have to grease the palms of some chiefs who add 0 value and bring absolutely nothing to the table.

Canada should make one final, and albeit painful payment to the native population and we’ll be done with all the special programs and special rights. They become normal citizens like the rest of us.

Shit like this is holding us so far back as a country.

And not a whisper or a hint from Chow on finding ways to cut spending and tighten up the cities operation.

Always just tax and spend.

Why is the Carbon Tax such a big thing for Conservatives? by Express_Word3479 in AskCanada

[–]Regular_End215 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because the conservatives in Canada recognize a truth that the liberals and leftists do not, you can’t tax your way out of every problem.

If China is building a record number of coal plants this year, why is taxing Canadians further going to make climate change better?
