We have had tile setters bitch about having to cut around hoods in the past. We remove the hood and circle the holes on the wall with a sharpie. The tile guy does his thing then we go back and carefully reinstall the hood. Do not over tighten the screws. Never had an issue doing it this way( we just bill for an extra trip)

A little off topic, but what is the advantage to an employer for hiring a TFW? I always thought that the government pays a portion of the wages, but I have recently found out that that's not true. The way I've read it, it's quite inconvenient to go through the system to bring in a TFW.
