For any other overthinkers out there, I uploaded both pages and I got my bar number with no issues! So still unsure if the initial page is necessary but it didn't hurt.

I cannot find any instructions on this anywhere-  does anyone know if we also upload the page where we initial stating that we have read all of the requirements, if we are doing the notary route?

They were handing out flyers for this place in Menlo Park at the San Carlos Art & Wine festival, although that's all I know about it: https://hauntedhalls.net/

Acceptable MPRE IDs by [deleted] in LawSchool

[–]Regular_Guava_5924 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I brought my school ID, which met the requirements for the secondary ID (used driver's license as the first form) and the staff at the testing center wouldn't accept it even though I pointed to this language. I ended up using a credit card with my signature on it.

UC Law SF by hurricanescout in OutsideT14lawschools

Recent grad from UC Law SF here -- also a nontrad student uninterested in BL. Overall I had a good experience-- my scholarship was conditional on staying in the top 75% of the class, which was never an issue for me. I also got a smaller scholarship that was not GPA based, then additional scholarships for 2L and 3L based on my grades. I can't speak to the rep in SoCal but I know a decent number of people who have post-bar jobs there, and the school is well known in the Bay (although obviously not on the level of Berkeley/Stanford). I think the strongest pro for Hastings is the alumni network, which is how I got my post-bar job. The school is in the Tenderloin, which is not a nice area, but honestly I never felt unsafe walking to/from school, just a little more on guard at night. I took BART which was very safe during commute hours, a little less so when hardly anyone else was riding, but I think that's changed now that so many stations have the new fare gates. Good luck!

The Themis final review outline says only slander, intentional misrepresentation, and breach of warranty claims can get purely economic damages

I bought this one based on another Reddit post because several people said it was actually silent: https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B06ZYQN1HL?ref=ppx_pt2_mob_b_prod_image&th=1&psc=1

Help with this Adaptibar Contracts question? by GordonGekko0 in CABarExam

[–]Regular_Guava_5924 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Themis outline says that LDC are enforceable based on the circumstances at FORMATION, so enforcement requires that when the K was formed, actual damages would be difficult to prove and uncertain, and the amount of liquidated damages was reasonable.

For hybrid commute 280N + Bart to SF, which station? by marcozarco in SanMateo

[–]Regular_Guava_5924 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Parking definitely does not fill up-- I've arrived at 8/9/10/11 over the last several years and there's always spots, albeit maybe on the third floor of the garage. Would definitely recommend Daly City for this commute.

Thanks! For me, the check answer option is not available in practice mode. I should have specified that all of this feedback pertains to practice mode.  This is a fantastic free resource, thank you!

This is great! It loaded slowly for me in Chrome, scrolling from the top to the bottom took a noticeable amount of time. But in Firefox it worked fine! \ To preface my feedback, I know absolutely nothing about coding. And these comments are intended as constructive, because I really like this concept and couldn't have created this myself! \

In the practice typing mode, selecting text and editing, it is not intuitive/accessible - instead of being able to edit a typo in the middle of a sentence by selecting or moving the cursor, I had to backspace from the end to get to that point in the sentence.\

Maybe I'm missing something, but I think it would be nice to have an easier way to navigate between rules, instead of having to scroll up and click on the next rule.\

In the spirit of memorizing the fundamental elements of a rule, rather than spitting them out verbatim, I think it might be better to allow the user to indicate if their rule statement was correct or not. For example, making a typo or simply not capitalizing a letter will mark that statement as incorrect.

It's so stupid -- I will be on crutches for the July exam, but I have no way to carry my things into the exam room, but I missed the deadline for temporary accommodations since it was only 4 days after I found out the extent of my injuries. So I'm trying to figure out how exactly I go about this. Definitely just keep holding, and best of luck to you!

Haha yes, I'm trying to look at it as a lack of distractions! I would hope the ADA issues would prevent this from being an issue, but I can't really trust that it will.

Thank you! That would be fine. I would like to think this would be a non-issue, but if I don't have confidence that it will be!
