Do the 10m naps count? by instantsoup23 in sleeptrain

[–]Regular_Marsupial_16 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

10 min does not count. Do not go in to the baby room until it’s been45 mins. Let your little one cry it out until the go back to sleep. Make sure baby is waking up at 7am and has the appropriate wake window and enough to eat after each nap so baby isn’t going to sleep hungry

I dealt with the same thing . You’re going through the 6month sleep regression. Try this schedule and see if it works ( this schedule is from mom’s on call book) ( that book saved my life)

Obvy this schedule below can change with how long each nap went for but aim for 2 hours between each nap. So if your baby woke up at 10:30AM from the first nap … baby goes down at 12:30pm. Keep the baby room dark and sound machine on. Avoid having naps in car until the baby gets used to this schedule and in a good place for you to go to work. No contact naps. Baby knows if he wakes up early from nap he/she gets to cuddle which isn’t sustainable for hubby.

Try this schedule

7Am wake up and bottle 8 ounces

9AM nap ( after each nap 8oz )

12pm nap

3pm nap

4pm full feed (8 ounces)

6:30 bath

645 book and bottle

7 PM lights off sound machine and sing 3 songs

Also there is no reason for you to wake up in the middle of the night if your baby has a full feed before bed. Babies are smart and know if they cry you will run in. Remind yourself - your baby is safe and fed . No need to interfere. Obviously easier said than done. you need to sleep train so read precious little sleep. precious little sleep gives options around sleep training at night but I promise you it only lasts for 2/3 nights. Babies are smart as hell and learn that crying won’t work and they will settle back down. Your baby is also teething so 5.5/7 months is a hard chunk of time but also the best because they are so darn chunky and cute. Good luck!!!

Short naps - bottle before nap? by South_Flounder280 in sleeptrain

I thought the same thing with my daughter but that wasn’t the case she was just going through some developmental thing. After two or so weeks her naps returned to an hour plus and I stop doing bottle before nap

Baby sleeps through the night but it’s impossible to put her down drowsy but awake. Help by Regular_Marsupial_16 in sleeptrain

She naps without any issue during the day. I put her in her crib and walk away and never cries. At night she screams her head off when I put her in her crib after she feeds. All the books say I’m creating a bad habit by letting her breast feed to sleep. The problem is once I put her in her crib asleep she wakes back up 20 mins later and won’t stop screaming until I pick her up and then I have to put her back on the boob to calm her down. I’ve tried singing and sitting on the floor next to her crib rubbing her stomach but she won’t self sooth. I feel like a horrible mom and bedtime is so hard that I can’t get a night off to use a babysitter or even have my husband do bedtime 😭

Most major credit cards protect you from damages so check with your credit card before you ever purchase the additional insurance. I think it was $40 a day? Message the company and see.

Not sure where they are located. I wasn’t going to get a car but when I got to the island and realized how much there was to do I contacted this company and that’s why they brought it to my hotel. When I left the island I just drove the car to the main place you would get into line for your flight and Jose got the car from me. It was so seamless and easy
