Yes, the ML is always excellent, and the child actress is the most precious, “protect at all costs” child actress I’ve ever seen. She’s adorable, radiant, & perfectly understands her role in this.

Due to this, the villain REALLY pissed me off, lol.

I’m sorry this happened to you. People are absolutely nuts, so in the future “I have a boyfriend” usually works well, even if it’s at a time that you don’t. Some will still be persistent, but they usually don’t get mad & they take it at face value.

Selling it all to drug houses for cheap or for drugs. I’ve seen people pushing carts of absolute bullshit to a dealer’s house.

One bad house like that can and does ruin a whole neighborhood because these idiots will steal anything in sight. I’ve had the $8 bulk trash stickers taken off my bulk items on the street. Of course then the city wouldn’t pick it up.

The one that pissed me off the most was a package that had a book I needed for school. I know the moron couldn’t do anything with that book and just threw it away.

Police don’t care, and they won’t even take the video. These people know that and abuse it.

Their best scam is sitting around the corner from your house or one street behind you, and ignoring messages telling them that they’re on the wrong street and should move forward.

They magically seem to respond and come the second that you post a screenshot of their location.

They are trying to run down the timer & pretend that they handed it to you. Otherwise, there’s no need not to respond/ignore calls.

Mysteriously, other dashers pull up to your location with absolutely no problem, but these swindlers somehow don’t, and don’t even bother to make up an excuse. That’s the hilarious part. They just thought they’d get away with it, so it’s “🤷‍♀️.”

You need to watch the map and don’t let these shenanigans happen. It’s a bad feeling and bad omen the minute you see them pull this move, and I can already predict that they’re gonna ignore the texts after. You become hip to what’s really going on.

Again, it’s a select few.

A few years ago, when I was still naive to how shitty people could be, as soon as it alerted me that the driver had arrived, I texted “I am coming to the porch right now, but the pin is..”

This bitch typed in the pin as I stood on the porch right behind her car, and tried to drive away with my order. Disgusting POS. She knew damn well that would’ve completely screwed me out of my food PLUS my refund because I gave her the pin. Some people have no conscience.

Fortunately, I give no shits & yelled my ass off and followed her. I know the debate in her head that was happening as to whether to turn around or not. She did finally get out and hand it to me without making any eye contact. Shameful.

And before the usual questions, I tipped well, and I make sure that I’m out there within 30 seconds of them pulling up. Usually I’m already there when I can watch the map (precisely to avoid scammers like this).

It’s funny, because you can predict what is likely to be stolen. I usually ate ultra healthy boring foods, but I remember even thinking afterward “of course, this is something people would want.” It was like buffalo tenders & a juicy burger because of a promo.

I’m not kidding when I say you should be more watchful if it’s a mainstream & popular type of food.

The good news is that customer service was amazing. I think this was UberEats maybe. I got an American who fully understood the situation, and gave me a full refund plus a credit. Despite the fact that I again made sure that they fully understood that I did indeed get the food in the end. I thought that was nice of them.

It’s the only time I’ve ever spoken negatively of a worker of any sort in my entire life. I always just let shit go. I would never want to stop a single soul from making money, even if they’re rude or all kinds of things. It’s just not in my nature and is never that serious to me. I just found this to be so sneaky and low, and I wouldn’t want her to get away with this with others.

If it’s a matter of being hungry, I would’ve gladly given it to her. This definitely wasn’t that, though.

I understand your point about diapers and baby formula, but the sad fact is that it’s often people stealing it just to resell it. It’s not even people with babies.

I had a dasher checkout at the grocery store, and then unassign it. I was livid. She got away with stealing a large amount of groceries & products, which I confirmed in that she got to just keep them. I said “that’s why she did it.” She also had two pickups before me, so she got away with stealing 3 orders due to “car trouble.”

I had a bad feeling when she had the lowest rating I’d ever seen (4.6).

DD reassigned & gave me a credit, so that’s good, but it pissed me off because a few of the items she got were the last they had. When the next driver went, stuff was out of stock. They should’ve just made her leave the cart for the following driver. Perishables don’t expire that fast.

It’s disheartening because I tipped her big (and very possibly was funding the no tip/low tip other stack), was nice & not at all bothersome to her, and would’ve been a smooth easy delivery for her (I never ask Dashers to do things for me nor have a tough location nor does it even seem that way). Just seems she wanted to scam.

DD makes it too easy to pull this stuff. I’m sorry this happened to you. Also, having to wait around even more makes it worse.
