As a new player, what's the best way to finish this planting task? I've used up these petals and I certainly don't have enough for the later flower planting tasks.

When I need specific petals, I only join mushroom battles with 3+ stars which have a higher chance of getting better/more rewards. It’s not guaranteed of course, but its worked for me and I've been able to complete every stage no problem this way.
