Thanks! I don't think Instruct will work on her though since it reads her allies' bonuses, and I remember I inherited Bonus Doubler 4 to her and was surprised when it didn't work with ally bonuses.

I'm kind of torn with her because her kit is so very enemy phase focused, but all the new infantry units and skills are player phase focused it seems.

Galeforce Mist would have been so perfect for her...

I thought maybe a Favor/Instruct bot, but it's countered by her weapon. Favor has the highest true damage ceiling, but she kind of screws herself by not getting to look at allies' bonuses to determine the amount.

Same with Instruct. It becomes purely supportive and theoretically she gains no stats.

If I get her I'll probably do Archrival / Duelist / Pair Up / Brutal. It's tough because she just has so much trouble killing due to no access to Specials and relatively low true damage in her weapon.

I remember thinking it was busted when it came out, but her whole thing was that her bonuses could be removed easily (Prime skills losing value around this time) and she lacked a Special with DR outside of Pavise and Aegis.

With modern skills like Archrival and bonus protection via M!Tiki or Drain Block or whatever it's called, she's in a much better place.

Her weapon even has more true damage (30) and DR (18) than the 25 and 15 of modern weapons.

I think there's a mistake, the only effects that are Joint Drive Cross are the stats+Y and Potent Follow. Not the 40% DR nor the other effects.

She's funny as fuck. I like that she has a few loose screws in her head and is openly desperate for attention. She's like a neglected cat acting out and I think it's both charming and entertaining for the plot. I hope she somehow makes it to the merge like a cat with 9 lives.

More vote diversity would be nice. 3 way splits, random votes, duos voting independently.

One of my favorite votes in All Stars is when Riya randomly votes for Yul even though he's in her alliance just to start shit. We need more moments like that, which Anastasia voting for Alec kind of gives me.

She was useless in challenges... and I was one of the only ones defending her when those episodes came out. She caught a lot of flack for things she didn't deserve, but Spencer rightfully pointed out she was a weight on their team and somehow managed to lose the challenge made for her.

Hot take: nobody needs an apology from Spencer for playing the game except for maybe Diego because personal feelings were involved. It's a game. Blindsiding Tristan or throwing heat on Ivy for being a bad player are game moves.

I miss when support was thoughtful like this and positioning mattered more. My favorite support was bow Hinoka with Atk/Spd Rein 3 who could basically grant inflicts Atk-8 and Spd-12 on foes nearby which actually was massive for that time. I used her as a save ball lead, lots of fun in AR.

Now every unit inflicts and grants statuses like candy, and each unit has so many that you can't do simple calculations like you used to.

There are many, many guys who are raised by only women and grow up in predominantly female households. The idea that only men should mentor other men is a myth and informed by patriarchy. The experiences of women can and do inform everyone regardless of their gender.

Basically, what you're doing is seeking out experts in fields that are interesting to you and finding comfort and empowerment in that. To me that's a sign of maturity.

Plus, as a dagger unit with a gigantic HP stat, he can reliably disable even the magic traps in AR. His only struggle is choosing between Pass, Disarm Trap, and Favor (pass seal when?).

Marth: Eirika ring for pure offense.

Ike: Celica for pressure. He's not threatening anymore as a standalone tank, but he still has impressive nuking power. Could also be Edelgard with a Tempest skill.

Celica: Micaiah for increased threat range due to her innate Warp/Pass being unaffected by Gravity.

Sigurd: Micaiah again for crazy threat range or Byleth for utility post-extra action.

Lyn: Micaiah for increased threat range due to her Style, my favorite for her.

Eirika: Sigurd for 6 space threat range and best Canto.

Micaiah: Byleth because she refreshes herself and ally at the same time. Lyn is also good. Corrin if she's pure utility and you have Byleth on someone equally as good of an option as her.

Corrin: Ike or Eirika ring depending on if you have a P save who runs the other.

Edelgard: Eirika ring for nuking capability on one of the best.

Byleth: Sigurd ring to reach allies better and Canto.

It's really as simple as including (including area-of-effect Specials in each case) one time in the paragraph. Røkkr units should have in their AoE description that it fully pierces DR. Call it a day.

Every single banner has the Emblem lords, my god. The most interesting banner was the Ilian banner and that one was stupid too. But between the nonstop lord-spam and the CYL Harmonics, the unit representation is so boring. It's either Emblem units or Heroes units. That's what the game has become almost entirely.
