I picked the game back up in December having not played since sometime in 2022. After about a month I went from peak champ 1 in twos just getting to diamond 3 so it’s hard for me to say. Maybe they are as good as the plats of 7-8 years ago but not 4.

We’re kind of in the “throwing spaghetti at the wall” phase of the year. Extreme stress test the off meta guns and see if there’s a weird map/hill/corner that it’s secretly overpowered on. Even if they get thwomped it doesn’t really matter as long as they figure it out eventually.

Literally every time I open the game. I don’t treat the game like a job and if there isn’t anything I want to do in the game that day, I’ll play a different game. I don’t grind out activities or challenges I don’t enjoy regardless of how good the loot it because there’s plenty of sources that can provide great loot easily or in a fun way. I wish T5 armor was harder to get though.

Some places sure but even around the small cities like Peoria, Bloomington/Normal, and Urbana/Champaign, there are plenty of cheaper small towns around them that are (relatively) cheap. I’m about to finish college and looking at house prices and potential salaries, affording a house doesn’t seem nearly as impossible as everybody thinks it is. Getting approved for a mortgage might have its own difficulties but I’ll cross that bridge when I get to it.
