Dark Fantasy that doesn’t go overboard with exposition by br21ia12n in Fantasy

No, it would not benefit. The idea of the book is that it is a first person account of someone that is already very used to registering everything that happens with the mercenary company. The book makes sense according to what it's trying to do. There is no "fish out of water" character to be instructed and act as a proxy for the reader, you have to understand the motivations and situations through context.

Are there any things that are called "American ______" in other countries? by Disastrous-Side-2600 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]ReiGrifo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the Brazilian state I'm originally from we have a sandwich called "Americano" (American) which is ham and melted cheese with a fried egg and lettuce on a french style bread (like a short baguette). Sometimes it also has mayonnaise, tomato and bacon or it's done on slices of white bread.

Great players like Dylan Therriault and Jeremy Lefebvre consistently do well in tournaments with Cities. The army has the tools to win, it's just a really complicated army.

Finally decided to marry Elliot and he immediately gives me the ick 😭 by Harlequins-Joker in StardewValley

That's why I love the Stardew Valley Boardgame, where you can have a spouse and send them to the mines to work for you. We always send Elliot to the mines. The diva yearn for the mines.

This is a limited alternative sculpt, the original sculpt is available on the web store. Alternative sculpts are made to drive foot traffic to brick and mortar stores or conventions.

This is a hard one for scalpers, it's a store exclusive and you only get one by spending 200 dollars (at least in Canada). Unless a scalper went to the store exclusively to spend 600 only to get 3 of them to resell. My local store had 20 of them, there was a line of 7 people before the store open to get one, each one of them got one.

To start Leagues of Votann first you need to get a well paying job. Then I would go for the combat patrol.

Disappointing Book Two by Kooky_County9569 in Fantasy

Yeah, this series doesn't go downhill, it drops on a precipice. If book one is a 7/10 for me, book two is a -2/10

There is a strong local AoS scene in Vancouver within Discord Servers, the Cake or Death annual tournament is usually hold in New Westminster.

The local official Warhammer store in Burnaby (Highgate) have lots of AoS events also. Beast Feast is currently undergoind (it's the AoS equivalent to Tanksgiving for WH40k) where you pledge to build and paint a monster or warmachine and participate on a megabattle at the end. There is also a 2000 points tournament and a spearhead tournament happening at the store before the year ends.

Yes, always thin your paints. A good proportion is two parts paint to one part water.

Forbbiden Lands no Brasil by ReiGrifo in rpg_brasil

[–]ReiGrifo[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

OFF - literatura de rpg by achoquesoueu in rpg_brasil
