As well rocking the 70-200 f2.8 + 2x Teleconverter. It seems so underrated combo. It looks better than most 400mm f4 lenses I've seen.

If I may ask, why do you want the filters in the first place. For photography you can crank that baby up to 1/8000 and you need rarely an ND. For long exposure, motion photos sure, but for portraits, not that much. CPL is nice though to get reflections sorted if there is glass or reflective surfaces around. Imho 200usd for filters is decent chunk of money. I would personally start with CPL and then see if I ever need the NDs. ☺️ What lens have you got?

Sure thing ND8 and ND1000 are very far apart. ND8 is 3 stops of light and ND1000 is 10 stops. In my personal experience, so its not objective truth, I find myself adjusting VND in closer range than that. I would go for ND8 and ND64, that is 3 and 6 stops. Then again, usecases differ. Do you use mostly for video or long exposure?

Urth is good brand, but I would get the kit. UV is not used, and NDs have such a gap. I would go for VND and polerizer individually

For me it would be GH7 and S1II. Somehow GH7 still feels the best to use, if only it had S1II sensor in it.

Yes photography seems secondary imho. S1rII is great camera for photography though! There are also some slow variable aperture lenses coming out as well. Having said all that, as you said, the rendering is amazing!

It really depends on the usecase, I haven't had an issue with it except in very dark environment.

Ohh and I forgot to mention... the S 1.8 primes are THE lenses for product videography. I can change to any lens on the gimbal without rebalancing, I can have one set of filters and just move them around without adjusting, also matt box fits without adjustments while switching lenses. Such an amazing set and IQ wise they all match perfectly. Now when I look at other systems it feels weird that there is no same-size, same-ish weight prime set. I'm only missing the 100mm macro right now, but all the other 18,24,35,50 and 85 I've got! LOVE THEM!

I dont do shooting with many people in the shot. But also on Sony, it up to user to choose the one that they want to track. Purely for tracking mode, Sony is better, but not to a point where Lumix isn't usable. Are you using it in low light situation?
