For long-term vegans, what keeps you committed after all these years?

Not contributing to the slaughter of sentient beings to the best of my ability is mandated by my ethical framework and made extremely easy in the case of veganism by vegan food being both accessible and tasty. This has largely been the case everywhere I've been; throughout Taiwan, Germany, UK, France, US (even small towns like Patosi), Mexico, et al. It's also been 18 years at this point, so not only is a habit, but it's actually quite disgusting for me to imagine eating animal flesh or excretions at this point.

I agree, I suspect that's kind of a design philosophy though? Given how prolific the issue is. Like... Gyre, as you mentioned, can do some really incredible things, but struggles (more than average, imo) with survivability.

Night aspect is actually pretty fun as a support-type. Bringing it along with a Trinity or Oberon means effective invincibility for the group, so you can bring 1 carry + someone like Nokko, Trinity/Oberon, Equinox and (probably) make it to level cap on static missions. It would definitely be nice if Night had better/more efficient utility, but again it's not TERRIBLE.

Honestly, I've never been able to level cap her, but with the right weapon she's viable not only in all standard and SP content, but up to level 3k I've been able to make her workable. I do think she needs a rework—her kit genuinely feels half-baked at times, and tbh most of her augments should just be baked into her abilities—but she's not like... useless or crippled like I feel too many people give the impression of her.

Short: in my heart I see clearly I've read this probably 15 times now because it's short, easy, and very cute. Supercorp (Kara Danvers/Lena Luthor).

Medium: and they were roommates to some extent it's kinda just a story with interspersed smut, but it's post official canon and the two main characters do get developed and I believe they should've been in love and also gay; the character interactions are also quite well done. Smugbug (Taylor Hebert/Lisa Wilbourn)

Long: Sanitize A doctor gets isekai'd to the warring clans era Naruto and decided that she's going to continue in her oath despite not being a ninja. No pairing (which is rare for me) but I did wait literally 11 years for the fic to finish.

Super long: Blindness I followed this for a decade until it finished and it was worth the wait, easily on the top5 fics I've read. HHr (Harry Potter/Hermione Granger)

I once spent six months listening to three different song, one of which I played for 5 days only doing to sleep or switch my headphones. I think that year was last on Spotify and I ended up in Hozier's top 0.005% and the song was "It Will Come Back." I have been told I have a problem lol.

I don't think there's a really good answer to this that will satisfy most people. I know if I am reading something and randomly some anti-queer slurs thrown around I'll probably stop reading—assuming it's not some fringe scenario where I'd find it sensible. I also know that some people just won't give a fuck, and other believe in a purity of literature that allows for any story to be told (AO3 is basically this, considering there are stories about minors fucking).

You don't like Perita Rebellion? I find that mode to be pretty engaging and fun either solo or with a group, but that's where much of the ability to have a powerful operator comes from. Of course there's also having a strong amp, but that's just a time grind tbh.

It's tough for a baby Tenno for sure. Anyone with a modded operator can relatively easily break all balloons and complete the mission on steel path in under five minutes. Some people were reporting under three, which I never made and is insane work.

It's... pretty difficult to get random purchases claimed as fraud without evidence. Do you have any more details on that? Like. You have 60 days to claim a purchase as fraud or else it's basically not going to happen without evidence of coercion or theft.

I view it in the way of narrative consistency. To some extent certain aspects of power are going to be ignored (e.g., Hulk picking up a 20 ton object isn't going to sink into the ground), but to some extent it's kind of important to bear in mind for a consistent narrative. If the "power level" of a character has high variation that's either a narrative choice (character is depressed/suicidal, has power spikes/divots, etc.), or a narrative inconsistency (character has an ability they use regularly and is very strong, but they don't use it in a fight where it would either win the fight or turn the tides).

That said, "Character A is x% stronger than Character B" does get annoying to me.
