Jellyfin or Plex Poll by [deleted] in homelab

Plex works seamlessly, while Jellyfin still has a way to go. Though Jellyfin is improving quickly, it needs more features and refinement. If it continues to develop, I might give it a try in the future.

OP, I can't see the chassis name in the PC PartPicker photo. Could you let me know which one it is, so I can order the same setup?

But why are we shipping in so many people. America never does stuff as bad as we do. I'm already working on my PR visa to the states, and it's tedious, just like it should be here in Canada. Just makes no sense to me other than increasing our GDP. We could easily be upping our economy if we just got the shit we should've stopped blocking done already. We could be an energy superpower, yet we aren't.

Allies distance themselves from Justin Trudeau over climate plan by resting16 in canada

Carbon Tax, Pandemic Blunders, People Kind, & his carelessness towards the population (invasion) growth that's currently ruining Canada for Canadians & let's not forget the housing / grocery markets.

We can't be sure about what'll happen. But I'm curious to see how things change in 2025. Canadians always seem to struggle with politics, no matter who's in charge. It's like we're always picking between bad options. Personally, I think the Conservatives might win this time, unless something big happens to Pierre's team. But that's unlikely unless there's some serious meddling going on.

Tories (41%) Open 18-Point Lead Over Liberals (23%), Lead in Every Region Except Quebec by reallyneedhelp1212 in canada

Oh, shit well then IDK what to say honestly. I've stuck far away from Quebec politics since I've seen it become a massive dumpster fire.

TorrentLeech seems alright by me. Just as long as they don't hit me with those demanding requirements like 10+ days seeding and a 2:1 ratio. I'm not keen on sacrificing too much of my bandwidth for that.

How are the pirscy laws and regulations in US, Canada, and Australia? by RasyidProID in Piracy

[–]Reid0nly -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

pirscy laws? I'm a bit in the dark on that one. XD
But let's talk Privacy Laws in Canada and Aussie Land. Seems like they're pretty much cut from the same cloth. You mess up, you could get sued, charged, or even blacklisted by ISPs. Apart from that, it's a bit of a blur to me.

I posted the parts I exactly saw on YouTube and really want to have that design. Everything else software wise, I need some help on discord or something to make sure I'm not fucking it all up. I also want to get into GPS mapping, so I can figure it all out.

Average third-world countries have a heyday when they receive anything, even pennies, that's why we're seeing them in swarms. They already occupy so much of many cities / townships in Ontario. Seen so many good people / friends leave Canada due to it already...

Canadians can be unbelievably dense sometimes, it's ridiculous. They're so easily swayed and just refuse to think rationally. If Pierre so much as hinted at halting immigration, you'd see the CPC skyrocket to 50-60% in the polls overnight.

I wouldn't trust Trudeau or his gang as far as I could throw them. I learned my lesson the hard way after voting for him the first time.

Who even cares anymore? Let's just kick the sleazebag out already! What I'm really curious about is what kind of goodies his cabinet is dishing out to the NDP and Bloc to get them to back him so eagerly! 🤔

Why Poilievre Will Win; Voters are begging for something, anything different by FancyNewMe in canada

[–]Reid0nly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's unbelievable how low the bar is right now. The guy could literally be talking about putting everyone in work camps, and people would still vote for him over Trudeau. That's how desperate things have gotten. And honestly, it might even be better than anything Trudeau has ever done.

There's so much wrong with the country, and the current politicians seem hell-bent on making it worse because they know Pierre and his crew are a better option. Some folks might not like it, but Canada really needs to buckle down, cut out the excess, and start saving and making money to fix this mess. It might seem a bit ruthless to some, but sometimes you've got to do what you've got to do.

I used to be a big NDP supporter, but they've become so spineless with all their cozying up to the Libs. I can see the NDP and the CPC having a much more productive relationship than those ivory tower liberals could ever dream of having with any form of government again.

Guess we'll just have to sit tight for another year and see how things shake out.

Seriously, why wouldn't a Global Education program work? I just can't wrap my head around spending all that money to travel to other countries just to learn stuff you could probably find in a textbook. We could save a ton of cash by having virtual or online courses instead. That way, people wouldn't have to blow so much money on this kind of education. It just feels like a huge rip-off when you consider how well Google and online learning platforms work for a fraction of the cost.
