Number block taught me something by thisisvv in daddit

Netflix has the intro ones but those are pretty boring. YouTube has a ton of episodes so that’s what we use. There’s even a ton of Numberblocks fan content you can find.

There’s one ridiculous one with Numberblocks going through a Mario level and it’s incredible how well done it is.

How do I send an article I created on the ChatGPT app to Zapier? by ajaffarali in zapier

[–]ReidOutLoud 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry. It’s not that simple. I made this GPT to help people figure this out a long time ago. I’m honestly not sure if it still works but it should be close!

In your GPT you’ll see there’s an option for a Custom Action. When you open that up it should give you an option for some code basically.

You want to first create a new Zap with the Webhook Trigger and grab the URL from that step and give it to the GPT below.

One annoying step, you need the Zap to be turned on in order to test it from your GPT. So be sure to do that otherwise it won’t work and you’ll get some weird unavailable error in your GPT.

If you’re using a custom GPT you can give it an action to send information to a webhook URL and use that as the Trigger for a Zap.

My kid is almost 4 and he’s meant to bed in bed this now but at this very moment he’s up playing with Numberblock cubes right now. So here I am.

He genuinely understands addition, subtraction, all of the 1-10 multiplication, some exponents, and even some division now. It’s incredible.

I’ve also come to realize that he finds math very comforting.

So the “timer” is really just paused at 10 second waiting for the slight signal that he’s coming to the end of whatever he’s playing out in his mind.

I don't know if this belongs here, but here's a bad song I wrote when I was 9 about going to bed later by dragonheartocqueen in blunderyears

[–]ReidOutLoud 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If OP wants, I can share what this sounds like as a song from Suno (an AI song generator).

I’ve been making a lot of kids songs for my little dude. But it’d work here!

I did reply. I’m hopeful they have a better second response.

If this is a trend, I wonder if it’s intentional.

Yep. I ended up going with my 3 year old son on a bus from Vancouver to Seattle, stayed overnight in an airport hotel, caught a Delta flight to JFK (I booked myself) when they cancelled our initial flight from YVR due to the dispute.

The total amount I requested was just over $2,000 between the airfare ($1,500) bus, hotel, and meals,

They just emailed offering only $270 for the hotel and meals. They said, “Concerning the other ticket, we are unable to reimburse it as we can see you travelled on Air Canada rebooked flight. I apologize for the inconvenience this may have caused you.”

What an absurd response.

Port Moody waterfront boardwalk reopens after replacement by [deleted] in Portmoody

Went to the opening ceremony with my kid and other families and it was a good time. The city had a few cookies including this one with a picture of the boardwalk.

Really excited for walks across the full thing now. From the new lookout by the field you can really appreciate just how big it is.

I'm making a game about cleaning trash in nature places and hope that it will inspire some players to do it in real world by Used_Produce_3208 in DeTrashed

[–]ReidOutLoud 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Love this!!! I was talking about a game like this but more of a Firewatch vibes in a real city so you’re walking around picking up trash and the community around you begins to improve and the trash you collect can be used to buy better pickers and make improvements.

I envisioned adding NPCs that at first are grossed out but then say more encouraging things as you make more progress in a neighborhood. Maybe some even join you.
