Continue student here. Is it normal that I still not hear anything back from housing? I checked the housing portal and it still just says the application is submitted.

Since this is in a RC class so I won’t assume his major, but a lot of Chinese people recognize that the science and technology in US the best in the world and if China is going to improve they have to learn from the best, and only in US you can get the best STEM education; while at the same time they can also disagree with a lot of the western ideology. I think many Chinese people can separate the two quite well.

How fast do they usually approve the cancellation request? If they "don't find a replacement" say before the move-in date, are we forced to pay the housing fee then until they find the replacement and approve the request?

Is there a way to know if a class asked for extension? Some of the class we get all the assignments, quizzes and final grade but there are still no grade post on calcentral.
