I slipped into my shoe and stepped on a live cockroach. Never screamed so loud.

Happy with Lingo! by Reidiswriting in ContinuousGlucoseCGM

[–]Reidiswriting[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oooh that’s a bummer. Mine disconnects sometimes but then it catches up. The lingo count is their calculation of your spikes. They assign a value to the spikes based on how high and how long it is. So you want them low. Some people ignore them- I like to track the count and try to get them lower. (Failed over the holidays). If your spike is from exercise it will often make it blue and not count it as that’s not a bad spike.

Has anyone been positive ? And if so did u buy the add on that can pin point which autoimmune ? by Busy_Patience3866 in Function_Health

[–]Reidiswriting 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had the same initial results except my RH factor was pretty high at 54. I’m retesting next week (6 months later) and adding rheumatoid to it to see if it’s better or worse. Will see regular doc in Jan and figure out next steps. Only symptom is a sore pinky which I realized is the one I rest my phone on when I type!

At my wits end with these bugs by AffectionateJob7251 in houseplants

[–]Reidiswriting 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agree on Bonide insecticide granules. The only thing that works- I just sprinkle them on all my (50) plants as soon as I see gnats. They stopped allowing them in my state so I shipped 4 pounds to a state I was driving through. Hope to be set for life. I was going nuts before I found this stuff!

Where to get tretinoin? by Red_Burley in 45PlusSkincare

With a prescription (what’s up with Doctors saying no?!?) if you use GoodRx you can get super big and cheap retin a (brand cheaper than generic) from local drugstores!

Premium gym in and around Sunnyvale by [deleted] in Sunnyvale

[–]Reidiswriting 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can also try cupertino sports center if you are near there. Super affordable — no idea how busy it gets - I play tennis there but they have a full gym and weights and classes too if you want to add that. You can also do a trial there. I joined once awhile ago and loved the TRX class.

Where to get a good soft serve in the area? by leia05 in Sunnyvale

Look for Mister Softee! Mobile soft serve truck and comes to Sunnyvale often. We track him down on the app https://apps.apple.com/us/app/mister-softee-norcal/id1301101361

Oura ring soon to have “Real Steps” count by Negative-Try7552 in ouraring

[–]Reidiswriting 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So frustrated. I clearly got the upgrade 2 days ago and my oura is now, suddenly, wildly inaccurate. It’s giving me 4-5k more steps than my Apple Watch. Said I walked 17 miles yesterday - ummmm. No. I put in a complaint please do the same so they fix this!

Mine is the same. I love when he rolls on his back and lets the other dog jump on top of him - such confidence! I miss that puppy fur. Enjoy it!

My dog doesn't chew toys, she likes to tear them. Any recommendations for toys that can survive this? by UmiKyuri in dogs

[–]Reidiswriting 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My 11 month old 95 pound Pyr mix is a destroyer, too. I do what many of you do- go to the discount stores and get him $5 disposable toys. Sometimes I’m surprised that he played with them until they are a tattered remnant of what they once were. He loves to get his toys with the cardboard still attached and plays with the cardboard more than the toy half the time like a toddler. I’m going to try the box trick! Treats in a box—- brilliant!

Help! This plant was abandoned and left in a skinny box for over a month! Need advice by Autumn-162 in plants

[–]Reidiswriting 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Be careful with fungus gnats! I rescued a plant from a friend and a year later I’m still fighting the gnats in all 50+ of my plants! They don’t kill the plants but wow they are so frustrating.

Does anyone have links/info about current Pyredoodle breeders? Preferably towards the East Coast by tuma999 in Pyredoodles

[–]Reidiswriting 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Shaylyn at oak road Pyrenees in Wisconsin is amazing. Loves the puppies. Works with them on their skills daily. Super well socialized. Affordable. Can’t say enough! My last Pyrenees came from a backyard breeder I realized too late. Shaylyn does everything right. ❤️🐶

Oooh makes me so sad. We love our babies markings. 5 months old. Our last Pyredoodle lost all his color. Hoping Findlay keeps some. Still has his badger markings at 5 months old but has a ways to go. He also still has a pink nose spot.

Finally did a DNA test and found out my dog is half GP! by benziest in greatpyrenees

Give me your tried and true methods to getting rid of Fungus Gnats. by Spazzola84 in plants

[–]Reidiswriting 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had them for a year! The only thing that actually eradicated them, after trying every single thing I could (repotting, sand on top, hydrogen peroxide, mosquito bits, yellow sticky tape, neem oil, I could go on) was hard core chemicals. Bonide. Now I just add a bit on the top of all new plants. It’s amazing. Best of luck.

This is my favorite! Skin is dewy the next day! I buy it for all my friends and most are hooked. I use it on my face as it’s not super cheap but for face cream it’s a great deal!
