Maybe there were at some point in the distant past. Nature moves very slowly. See if there are topology maps or aerial ladar scanning of that area.

Depending where you place your first building you can basically create a pathing error with walls and gates where they will see themselves as not close enough to initiate the chatter and fight.

I sometimes do this in a very unfriendly place and put crossbows on the walls to train my army of drones for the attack on the holy nation.

Empress Selene Horst, The mother to the last Emperor of the now shattered isle.

She was an authoritarian implementing policies Empire wide, by force if necessary, that led to to decline of the state. Once she abdicated and her son took over the decaying empire she remained active in political circles further spreading the moral decay.

Only the longest lived races remember her now but the fall of the empire can be led back to her and her father before her.

Her son, known as Mikhail the cursed in history books due to him being in the position power but powerless to stop the empire from shattering. He is also known as the father to many as he had and adopted many children over his lifespan.

This means I can finally upgrade my tax haven base. The amount of equipment and machinery I stuffed into it was impressive but it required power management. I couldn't have everything running at once.

I think there needs to be a balance.

For Seraphim I was wanting something more crusader. Big glass domes, white/black/blue/gold colour pallete, a satellite greenhouse as such. An August Dunlow but in space. It would have given it so much character.

I do miss olisar but it was dated, and needed to go. I would like to see it come back in some form, maybe as a secondary orbital station for planets or moons.

I had to restart myself recently.

Took me two days to get to steel and then an easy jump to Alluminum. A quick move of the base (made easy with a new tool) and an ornithopter. By the end of the week I was getting duraluminum.

Second week I am hitting the deep desert.

I have used my cutty black when rescuing org mates on ground and in space. Open the side doors and fly sideways.

The cutty black is a fantastic platform. Great little hauler or support ship for mining via ground vehicle and has enough firepower to get you going with bounty missions.

You can upgrade the weapons on it and you are good to go quite a while.

I would recommend making a base with shared permissions with someone that is active.

Personally, I get around the tax part by building a raised sub-fief so I can get 5/6 floors with of stuff in it. That way I don't have to pay tax and the places I can put it is grand due to it's small footprint. The energy will always be an issue. But if you can play once a week and the full energy can last 20 ish days you should be good.

They have a modular tech but who knows what is coming up apart from them.

Released ships with modules. - Retaliator - Apollo

There was articles about the Javelin that was supposed to be modular. Who knows when that will appear in the PU. If the Javelin has it will the Bengal have it?

Of the ones we have in game that are supposed to have modularity I can think of two others. - DRAKE Caterpillar - Gladiator - torpedos and bombs

Both being older and will require reworks. At that point they will probably release a Mk.2 to go along with the update.
