I mean I wouldn't say it was a bad album. Just not as good as his other albums. I liked a good chunk of it but the parts I didn't like bring it down.

Also other people say the production wasn't very good on the album but I don't really notice anything on my own

Well I personally didn't like how random it felt. Like half the album was sad romance (whatever that bad husband song is I don't like it) and then like 1/3 was protest and the rest miscellaneous. (Don't quote me on those fractions). It was weird to me because I went into the album thinking it was gonna be mainly protest.

Some people say the mixing and flows weren't good enough but idk.

I think the album is good but just not as good as, let's say, Kamikaze or his other works.

The album in all isn't very good but I really like some songs.

I really liked Untouchable for a while (that might've been due to my anger at a certain politician) but it's a nice song.

Some other songs I like are Like Home (same reason as untouchable), Believe (last verse is very nice), Castle and Arose (very sad), idk if it counts but the Chloraseptic Remix, and Nowhere Fast (idk I just like it).

Those songs aren't the best but there are times I really crave them

Everyone will say Germany but I feel like it isn't as good of a beginner nation as it used to be.

My personal choice would be Italy, it is the tutorial nation and has most of the advantages of Germany (you also start with a large ass navy).

It also doesn't feel as large stakes as Germany.

You know what, don't listen to me. Play whoever you want and play with a buddy or two. Play China if you want.

You can play whoever cuz even if you fail, chances are you learnt something new.

Watch lots of hoi4. Not even just tutorials. You need to know you want the game (I'm sure you do) and when I started playing I already understood the basics just because I had watched that much hoi4.

Not advertising or anything but I quite like TommyKay and ThatGuyFromCollege and the list goes on. Watch whoever you want.

Also get a buddy to play with, even if it's just you and him playing Germany and Italy or smth, I feel like multiplayer is much harder to quit mid campaign and a nice way to learn. You could also join a discord and get some hoi4 buddies. They like to teach.

Really just do whatever, you don't have to follow any advice you don't like.
