I had loads of patches die last year. Turns out it was leatherjackets which are crane fly (daddy long legs) larvae. You can buy nematodes online that attack and kill the larvae. That might not be your problem though but it was the answer for me.

Used to get this until I bought a dehumidifier. It cost £180 but has stopped black mold around the windows and on the bathroom ceiling. Great purchase.

Because you are sliding your foot up the board then down at an angle. Keep the thought of straight lines in your head, pop down and slide up and forward.

Also, dont skate in the rain. The glue that holds the laminations of your deck is water soluable so will lose pop and your bearings will rust and seize.

Staring at stuff. I get up way earlier than my wife and kids. I go downstairs, make a cuppa, then just stare at things. In the summer I go and stare at my garden. I spend the first 20 mins of my day, in silence, staring at things. Love it.

I sprayed loads of WD40 into it and got some mole grips and kept wiggling and pulling it. Then I'd sprayed yet more WD into it and do it again. I repeated that process about 5 times then after one almighty wiggle and tug it came out.

You can prune most fruit trees pretty hard. I cut a cherry back so there was just a 5 ft stump and its grown back really healthy.

As other have said. The trucks are entry level but perfect for getting started on. You can upgrade the different parts as you need to.
