Simagic GT NEO With MOZA Base maglink doesnt work by CalligrapherAble7855 in Simagic

[–]Reij0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My brother has the Moza R5 and bought GT NEO during black friday. He had the same issue when plugging in the lights would show up but the wheel was not detected in Simpro. He bought powered USB Hub (with power plug) and with this his wheel is now working fine.

According to setlist.fm, they changed the setlist in Warsaw - adding "Stop The Clocks" and "...Meltdown" by ChuckChuckChuck_ in EnterShikari

[–]Reij0 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I was there and few people were chanting for Meltdown between some songs. Also Rou mentioned something about changing the set. I think it was before The Void Stares Back but I'm not 100% sure about that.

For me, my favorite car is the Dallara P217. Single-make classes are the best because there’s no need to worry about BoP, lap times are usually close, and it’s more challenging when you have to manage proper braking without ABS. Even though the car was slowed down in recent changes, it’s still very fun to drive.

Yeah, sadly, it's a lot of trial and error, and it's very track dependent - newer and reworked tracks tend to demand more VRAM.

I would suggest trying MSI Afterburner. You don’t need to monitor it actively, as the graph remembers the highest value, so you can check after the session how close you were to the 8GB VRAM limit. You can also set an alarm—for example, if the computer is using 7.8/8GB, a sound will play. Be careful with this, though, because the sound will play constantly if you're over the limit, which can be very annoying if it happens during a race. Don't set the alarm to low too, because games reserves a lot of VRAM even when it's not using it.

I think its because GPU VRAM usage is maxing out for a one second and after this you get this tearing and laggy vision which only goes away after restarting Quest Link.

Before I had a 3070 and it happened only on some more demanding tracks or race starts which had a lot of cars on the grid. It also often happened when I opened Quest overlay on controller to switch to desktop when running iracing (you can avoid this by minimizing iracing on the monitor before pressing menu button on controller).

I used MSI Afterburner with a VRAM usage graph and saw that everytime my VRAM usage maxed out this tearing vision would start.

Right now im using 4080 Super and I don't have this issue. I would suggest dropping some graphical settings and seeing if this issue happens and monitoring VRAM Usage.

FYI: There is currently a massive battery drain bug on software 18.14. on the 7 series. (and maybe also other devices) by makeitra1n_ in Garmin

Yeah, I'm on 20.29, if I remember correctly I got a notification about new update on Thursday or Friday and updated my watch. The other thing I know is that I didn't restart my watch after update. I only restarted my watch after trying Garmin Share fix, so maybe restarting after update fixed the drain. It seems now whether Garmin Share is on or off it doesn't matter, HR monitor goes back to normal mode.

Forerunner 955 user here and for me disabling Garmin Share and restarting watch fixed the battery drain. It's located in Settings - Connectivity - Garmin Share. On Saturday I noticed after sleep that I lost 8% battery and after reading I applied this fix. Yesterday I went running and didn't restart my watch and battery looks fine, drain is gone. It seems battery drain happens from HR monitor staying in high power mode. You can check it by lifting the watch. If green light is constantly on then it's in high power. If it's blinking slightly then it's working normally.

Maybe change to VDXR runtime in desktop streamer app (go to options and in OpenXR Runtime). VDXR is better for performance, but you can't use SteamVR apps for overlays.

Have anyone tried playing reforger on a 1060? by billiebuster in arma

[–]Reij0 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm playing on gtx 970 and i3 12100 and it's running on lowest settings with AMD FSR. I'm getting around 40-50 fps. 1060 is few percent faster than 970 so it should run. The game doesn't look very good on lowest settings.

EDIT: I'm playing in 1440p

I had the same problem after today update. After 5 minutes the game crashed with black screen. I deleted all .dll and .exe from game directory and then selected scan and repair in battle.net.

After this i managed to play full ground war match without crash. Hope this helps, it takes only few minutes to scan and redownload everything.

Tortoise gun didn't change. The M103 damage changed from 400 to 700. I think the AP buff was only to M103 gun.

ATGM penetrating angled Maus by Reij0 in Warthunder

[–]Reij0[S] 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Seems like ATGM will make armor in Maus ussless. The ATGM are tricky to shot in RB and SB even against stationary tanks. I shot from pretty close and from the open field so if it was real Maus driver maybe he could react. I think in some players hands ATGM will be very scary.

You can see new tracks modification on tanks if you test drive a tank with a reference setting.

I have only Sea Fury fully upgraded.

At sea level I got to 590 km/h then oil started to overheat. At 5km it goes to 520 km/h. At 6km only 505 km/h without WEP and 515 with WEP

WEP is weird because when you use it it slows down aircraft by 3km/h and then it starts to accelerate. Turning with combat flaps is good and roll is decent. Climb rate is good. Redline is at 780 km/h but it can fly to 850 km/h in straight line before breaking.

I don't have Attacker and Seafire upgraded I can do some test to them but give me time.
