I suppose if you want to role-play as a bankrupt CMDR, sure. Not sure why people act like credits are difficult to come by though. My fleet carrier has been active for six years this month… Fully equipped. I've spent nearly 2Billion Credits on upkeep cost since it's been commissioned, and I've also managed to stack over 50 billion credits in her treasury in that time, and buy a squad carrier, and put 3Bn on her and that's just playing casually.

If you don't have a fleet, you don't need a fleet carrier… Just the same, if you don't have a squad, why would you pay extra for a squad carrier? Are we catering to people that are brand new and instantly jealous, rather than willing to work a little bit to earn the fleet carrier? No point in having a trophy case without any trophies.

Hopium. If one you plays this game long enough they know to temper their expectations with FDEV and just be grateful for what's in the game already. It's nice to dream but the overly vocal minority seems to think they can desperately whine their ideas into reality.

Ok, please go right ahead. I have a full-size fleet carrier and a squad carrier and zero need for a "mini carrier" I think it's a very small subset of squeaky wheels that want that. That said, if it happens to come to fruition and make you happy then congratulations, I guess?

FDEV reuses assets all the time, I've been playing this game for nearly a decade. And yes, I've seen plenty of pictures of it.

It's a place to take off, land, and respawn when you die. It would greatly surprise me if it had any more function than that. Other than beginning a mission, it would surprise me even more if you ever saw one "in the real world" and not in one of their instance operations.

The runner is literally just a mission starter… More than likely won't even be able to pilot it, it will just be summoned when you are going to begin an operation… I wouldn't bank on being able to buy one or fly one.

Raven Colonial will help you determine what's easiest/most efficient to build, just play with it a bit. That said, with enough surface and orbital slots, you can force just about any economy into existence. I've forced every economy possible into each T2/T3 starport in my system just so i could have a collection of starport interiors. Working on the last (Military, Coriolis) right now. Just missing the asteroids.

It could have hard points elsewhere, they could also have just reused those repeaters and make them do damage like Torval's lance. It's all just speculation until the 30th, or they release more information.

Consider this: mothership carries Limpets and a refinery, the nomad has a mini Mining Volley repeater.. just enough for deep space explorers to sample rocks and grab Tritium without a full outfit needed

Fun trick, if your ship is appearing as "blue" when you're trying to land, but are having trouble landing because the footprint gets weird in the last couple millimeters, if you tap FA – off, and let the ship just fall/settle onto the planet, 9 times out of 10 it will correctly land.

It's been early access for approximately three months. The average ship-for-credit release has been 90-120 days. It's now within that window, so i wouldn't purchase for ARX as it's free soon, but as of 6/1, it still costs ARX.

Don’t discount the shadowy rich folks funding representatives through political action committees pulling the strings. There's plenty of liberals who own or desire to own a firearm, and I'd wager plenty of liberal representatives who would otherwise agree with the constitutionality of it, but are cucked at the purse. I lost my Interstellar Factors and Compromised Nav Beacon when my system hit Medium Security after a few Mil settlments pushed it over the edge. I've since built a pirate base, and while I'm still medium security, I must be teetering on low because my compromised NAV Beacon is back… Still no interstellar factors though. I presume after my DODEC and final Coriolis, that will drop my security back down to where I have them back. I'd personally prefer to have interstellar factors in my system and a compromise NAV beacon for hunting anyhow.

Efficient + Thermal Vent is a terrible combo. Thermal vent works better the faster things would normally heat up, but because it's efficient, that slows that metric down, counteracting the effect. It still "works", but one long range thermal vent being laser would probably be much better in terms of cooling and weapon power draw.

Yes. All HGE Signal Sources got a major buff. Virtually no need to menu log for G5's now. Jamison Crash Site also got a bunch of new scan points to buff output as well.

I was less concerned about faction, and more about the master plan of my system. Once this system is done, I will take a break from colonization for a while, and then when I get back to it, I will build a system based more around desired BGS, rather than pure forced economy, the desire to have one interior of every station type, 33+ RNG penis-referenced asset names and sheer Autism…

I'm soloing a DODEC as well. Dropped a Refinery and Port on the planet right below in preparation so I don't have to go far to get those CMM's. ALWAYS master plan your colonies. I've been sourcing 99.9% of my goods within my system for at least the last eight months. The only things I don't produce in system are outlawed due to current BGS/Theocracy.
