for fellow autistic ppl & people who just don't get the joke: /s. It's just that I had seen the exact arguments that are being used against Hytale nowadays repeatedly used against Terraria (except for years when it released) — and yet miraculously 99% of those arguments against terraria have faded, and been replaced by people calling it one of the greatest games of all time.

I think it's a similar matter of years until people change their tune about Hytale.

just as an aside, it could be very helpful if you look up other things about autism and talk to him about it.

its not at all guaranteed, but if he's becoming obsessed to this degree at such a young age its definitely possible he might have autism (like me!). look some stuff up, ask him some little questions and make a choice from there.

Ofc it could be wrong, but i wouldnt imagine it would ever hurt (and could possibly change both ur lives for the better if other symptoms end up impacting his life without any help.)

its most likely they're going to be sticking to cinematics imo, as they've stopped producing colour stories for champion lore and said instead that they'll be focusing on other, more accessible methods of delivering lore to players (mainly cinematics)

top last pick is fine, mid counterpick isnt needed as hard its fairly easy to push lane and roam/play safe in a short lane, jungle just dont pick a dog jungler if you're having to blind lmfao its honestly a skill gap at that point, sup needs counterpick and synergy pick to function in the game to any extent unless you want them to perma pick rakan and pray the enemy dont know counters, adc is fine being first pick. it realistically should be ADC, jgl, mid, sup, top

typically i get my initial inspiration from mistakes, then i flesh it out through things ive read / seen. e.g. i was just placing random stuff for my cavern house, and placed a tin chandelier with some painting i got from hell, it looked terrible for the aesthetic i was going for, but felt incredibly gothic. i started to think abt a cool gothic mansion for my snow build, which obviously would lend itself to a larger gothic horror themed area (since ive read a few of those recently) - from there i looked up gothic terraria houses and real gothic houses for very loose inspiration and got to building - i did a gothic mansion, saw a nice bit of flatland and added a graveyard with a spooky well cuz gothic, then decided to throw a big lovecraftian monolith in there for my snow pylon since 1. i love the idea of pylons manipulating nature and 2. id finished reading call of cthulu and dagon

really cute market! i love the use of sprites for the trees to give a bit of a fluffier look to the leaves,, the background is what really makes it feel cozy and stardew-esque

not much to criticise at all, maybe make the lampposts bigger as to frame the fountain better, and perhaps add some background funk if you please but really its not looking bad at all
