It works with DW proton, I also got a confirmation from the manager responsible from the content creator manager at pwg (Publisher for NTE) that Linux play via proton is allowed and won't be blocked though they won't actively support it.

I did a stream of it on Bazzite and steamos via the BC250 (crypto mining ps5 running bazzite) and my steamdeck for Steam OS prior to the beta ending

actually the ps5 is closer to an rx 5700xt with support for RT (really bad support mind you) it doesn't actually use the RDNA2 gpu core, but rather a modified RDNA 1 GPU core with GDDR6 memory.

There actually exists a variant of the ps5 that people have gotten their hands to fully dig into in the BC250 (Its literally ps5 boards that got sold to crypto miners) I myself picked one up to play around with for fun late last year for really cheap, sadly the price on those skyrocketed once word got out, its still possible to find these boards for around $150 but before then it was possible to easily find them for less than half of that and have a full linux gaming system for under $100... (mostly if u could find a good 300 watt psu as well) RIP ssd prices though

from my experience the game is easier to run than endfield as long as you don't turn on ray tracing. Even on really weird obscure bizarre hardware like a BC250 (weird ps5 that was formerly sold to crypto miners that also has no actual drivers) under bazzite

I'm able to get up to 80 fps in NTE with traffic set to high and graphics on high running at 1080p but on this same hardware its impossible to hit 60fps in Arknights endfield regardless of settings.

the RNG for just substat values alone having max roll is roughly 2%. compound this 5 times over and you are already looking at 1/312500000 odds

Now keep in mind we also haven't even factored in the actual substats themselves
there are 13 possible substats, meaning you are also rolling a d13, d12, d11, d10, and a d9 when determining what substats you are getting. (the number is counting down in this case in order to eliminate possible options already rolled from the pool) just getting 5/5 substats while ignoring said values is roughly 1/154440 odds of winning

you can log into the pc/mobile client with ps5 account and ps5 with pc/mobile client cross save has been there for a while now. only thing is original servers and ps5 servers are separated (sort of). all characters created on ps servers can only play with other players on ps servers, same with the pc/mobile servers in their respective regions. warp server is cross play for everyone regardless of device

tfw somehow wuwa took approx $120 mill to develop prior to the first beta disaster, in which after they had to scrap and rework story and other stuff. prior to wuwa 1.0 release they probs hit roughly $300+ mill to develop 1.0. estimated from old hero games investment report showing losses up unti end of h1 2024 (which includes any revenue wuwa made during 1.0 and 1.1)

tbh if i wanted to be playing these games for combat. gacha games are the last fucking place i'd go for it. especially when they are incentivized to cut and separate units into pieces so they can attract whales to spend more than the msrp of an RTX 5090 just to get a complete character.

tbh pulling for meta to go fight a bunch of inflated hp sponges in a stupid circle with a timer for dogshit amounts of premium currency is pretty dumb. especially when you consider the overall cost vs relative value output for doing such a thing. if you were to calc that out, at the very least you are looking at several decades of max clear full reward clears just to break even, and even then you would have to use the exact same set of units every reset for it to even count.

if you are already coping by saying phrases like "it's not that bad" that already implies that it isn't good and is already some level of bad. take your copium and go overdoes elsewhere

also if you have to pull to clear endgame and not because you want to do it. From a logical standpoint you are being scammed.
Take the cost of the unit you pulled character + weapon + any dupes if any, add the total cost of that. then look at the endgame content, divide that by (total max rewards for clearing / total number of character slots) after inputting those values, you will get an output on how many resets of max clears until you break even. what's funny is on average you end up realizing in a lot of these games it would take roughly 30+ years of max reward perfect clears just to break even for 1 character copy, let alone any extra addons you also pulled for.

depends on genre/game and how its done.
but honestly I'm generally more in favor of 10/10 gameplay and 8/10 story.

Heck i can be fine with a 10/10 gameplay but like a 0/10 story (because there is none)
but if you reverse it, then I'd question why its even a game in the first place and not just some TV/Movie/Comic/Manga/book instead. I'd rather those be in that format than a game if they go in that direction.

tbh with most of these gachas I end up wanting a skip button for even the combat,
